png9mon got a reaction from FrodoNDN in Most dangerous offensive backfield
I believe that there are at least 2 running backs, with great speed, that will be on varsity in the backfield with Shug. So please feel free to key on "the man" so the Indians "without all the press coverage" can run wild. Just sayin'!

Now that's legit bulletin board material. Harrison won't have to look far for motivation if people feel like he holds the team back

Shug...the one who has twice the amount of offers than Hines or Jones...the one who is committed to Texas and hasn't taken a snap as a junior in high school yet...the one you will see on Tv on Saturdays...that's who

png9mon got a reaction from pakronos in New Uniforms??
Will not bother me a bit if PNG ditches the gray uniforms. We are not Gray & Purple. We are Royal Purple & White!!!
Wish we could return to the old zig-zag line pattern on the sleeves & pants, from the 70s.
Now those were awesome, cool uniforms. Thanks for your interest pakronos.
By the way I am bored too!!! READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!

I think some who read this post will not understand......
But, at P.N.-G, there are plenty of special folks that are deeply rooted into the tradition. Its a very difficult thing to understand unless you are born into it. I.K. was a everyday hero to young kids for years at football games. And his wife was the driving force behind him. Without individuals like this, Those 3 words we live by would not be what they are...... Everyday folks, can make a difference in young kids lives, on a daily basis. These 2 are prime examples. Indian Nation has lost another good one. But I promise one thing, Friday nights are jammed packed upstairs with plenty of Purple and White, maybe even a little gray. Its something that is in your blood.........

Those PNG Football Fans that remember & hold fond memories of the late Ken Young aka NDN KEN, will be saddened by the passing of his wife, Christy Young. She passed on 7/18/2017. This was a true lady, and though she will be missed in this world, she joins him in the next!!! God receive her & bless this family!!! From one PNG Fan, this couple was loved!!!

Pound for pound I'll rank Westbrook ahead of Crosby as well as P.n.g and Dayton
2. Newton/
3. WB
4.P.N.G
5. Ned

I agree, I think Westbrook however is very underrated for the success they have, but W.O.S is a clear cut #1 with everyone else fighting for 2nd

WOS, everybody else #2. Next question

png9mon got a reaction from BelichikYoSelf in Area Baseball Coaches on the Move
Jeremy Seymour is taking over the head baseball coaching job at Hamshire-Fannett. He was a great player at Nederland. He also was an assistant football coach at HF last year & was successful when handed the soccer coaching duties last year for HF. Now that he can concentrate on Baseball, and not Soccer, baseball being his passion, he will do everything in his power to bring success to the HF baseball program.
Get after 'em Coach Seymour! Wish you all the best at HF!

png9mon reacted to TxHoops in Who is your team game(s) of the year 2017
As far as the games this year, the one I'm looking most forward to is PNG vs PAM.
-
png9mon got a reaction from pakronos in Who is your team game(s) of the year 2017
Agreed Memorial is explosive. Only way to keep the PAM score down is for the other team to move the ball & score often. You will also need some defensive breaks & Memorial offensive mistakes, as well. That being said, the reason the game is played is too see what will happen! Just ask Vidor, PNG & Memorial ... I think all these teams will agree, regardless of team skill, speed, power etc...We all want to see those games played!!! Let's get that football started!!!

png9mon got a reaction from Hagar in DCTF 22-5A Predictions - Do you agree?
I see it panning out like this:
1. Memorial
2. PNG
3. Vidor
4 or 5. Central (Will there be Defense?)
5 or 4. Nederland (Will there be Offense?)
6. Lumberton
7. Ozen
8. Livingston
9. Baytown Lee
These are my picks, however predictions are like a handful of feathers,
Throw them up in the air & they will land in some order.
Whether it is the right order, or not.

png9mon reacted to 2wedge in Winning state titles comes with the price of scheduling conflicts
WOS should never have to leave the triangle to fill that schedule. Between PNG, Central, Westbrook, Nederland, Lumberton, Vidor, Jasper, and PAM, someone should be willing to play WOS yearly. If I was PNG, this game would always be on my schedule. Why is everyone so afraid of the competition?

png9mon got a reaction from NDNWarrior in PNG vs College Station?
College Station Cougar Club website states that they have 2 ways for fans to go watch the Cougars beat the Indians on Friday Night. I wonder how many ways the depressed Cougar fans have to get home after their loss.
