So here is my take on this game.

1 Did Carthage really have four OLINE starters out? If so then they will even be more of a steamroller this season.

2 Crosby looks to have  stout team again this year.

3 Crosby is not the team they were last year.

4 Carthage will probably win state

    4. Carthage WILL win state.... fixed it for you lol

Aww shucks. Thanks for the kind words. I'm a quick learner and am looking forward to joining in the madness. It's definitely different seeing it from the inside. No words on how hard Todd has worked. He will be greatly missed. I know he is for sure at the Aggie house!

Thanks for all you are doing as well. I had you as a teacher in Lumberton, that's when I fell in love with Pirates of the Caribbean lol

I really think Vidor can win this game. But I don't predict scores for my team. The two things that concern me, is the fumbling. We can move the ball and efficiently, but the exchange has been sloppy as hell. The other thing that concerns is, the secondary. I've noticed they had a hard time communicating and being on the same page. And when they throw the deep ball, our DBs have a hard time tracking and adjusting.

And silsbee can go deep. It will be a good test for both teams.

  5. Can’t really make a prediction because I know zero about vidor, but I know silsbee will have a pretty good rushing attack and a qb that looks to be able to make plays on the run if needed and he’s got a couple weapons.

The young defenders may struggle with Vidor’s offense a little. Their secondary is young, especially safeties which look to be two sophomores that do look promising, but who needs a secondary against vidor?
Good luck to both teams, and please let’s have a Covid free season as much as possible.

Will Jones play RB this year as well?

Not sure about him, but from what I could tell from the 1 scrimmage it looks like Martin will be the backup. He had a few good runs in the controlled portion. I was keeping stats most of the scrimmage but got kinda distracted with a fantasy draft I had to do as well. But I’ll be doing stats for the game helping out the two guys doing the broadcasts on here so I’ll be posting them at halftime and end of game.

Martin also had an interception and TD was called back due penalty.

Was that the 70 yard interception that got called back? That’s the only one I remember being called back but we may have had the numbers wrong on the roster

    Your going right?

Yeah I did. Silsbee is young. But I like the two sophomores at safety they have. Looks like they will have a good linebacker as well.

Offensively, Brisbane oughta be pretty good at ab, Dodd will keep the sticks moving at rb. And a couple potentially good wr’s

Lol. I think the school board gave up on a football head coach. Lol. I’ll still be supporting our boys though. I’ll be at every home game hopefully. My baby boy is a freshman at UMHB. I doubt he will play this year, so I’ll still be able to watch my Raiders.

You’re not a fan of the new coach? I honestly have no clue about him
