Nederland hosted the Bulldog Classic for over 40 years and never seemed to have a problem with God or the weather.  Not having that tourney the last 2 years is pretty ridiculous.

[/quote] It's at Nederland.  That is the only non district home game scheduled for Nederland.  Pretty sad that the best park in the area sits empty while our boys travel all over Houston to play.

#18 Texas is off to a slow start with a 4-7 record and will probably drop out of the rankings this week. They have played a really tough schedule so far which will only make them better at the end of the season.  If they can get it figured out offensively, they should be fine for conference.

UT started off the Houston College Classic with a nice win over #4 Rice to give them their only loss so far this year by a score of 11-8.  Felts was 1-3 with 2 runs and a rbi Tennessee(aka the real UT  ;D) beat the Horns in the 2nd game by a score of 5-4.  Felts was 2-3 with 2 runs and a rbi. #7 Arkansas defeated Texas by a score of 7-3 in their final game of the tourney.  Bellow was 1-4 with an rbi and Felts finished 0-4.

Over the weekend the Ags swept Michigan St by scores of 7-3, 4-0, & 9-8. The #5 Ranked Aggies are now 11-1 on the season.

A&M had a huge comeback to win 14-10 against NW St.  Statum had a walk and a run scored The Ags took game 2 against NW St handily by a score of 8-1. Statum was 0-1

Stroud finished tied for 9th at the Honda Classic for his 2nd Top 10 finish in a row.  Hopefully he can keep it going and get him a win this season.

Texas is the first team out according to Joe Lunardi.

Katy 7 Lakes leads Ned 5-0 after 4.  White started pitching.  Stampley in now

Nederland wins 6-3!  Nice day at the ballpark for the Dogs.
