Nice 2-1 win by Italy to advance to the final.  Germany got a goal in extra time on a PK, but Italy dominated the whole game. 

Italy up 2-0 on Germany at half.  Balotelli with 2 nice goals to give Italy the surprising advantage.

South Carolina beat Arkansas twice and will now move on to play Arizona in a 3 game series for the national title.  They postseason run they are on for the last few years has been pretty amazing.

This shows boxing is still king and Dana White is running a racket continuing to pile up money while his fighters are underpaid.  I wonder how long it will be before the UFC starts losing fighters back to boxing where all of the money is.

Here is one thought To play in the NBA, you have to be 6'8" To play in the NFL, you have to be 6'4" 300lbs or run a 4.3 forty. MLB players come in all shapes and sizes and a lot of them look just like you and me.  5'10  170lb kids have a shot to make it, so a lot of them try to get any advantage they can.  If you can take a pill, gain 15 lbs of muscle, 5 mph on your fastball and hit the ball further then a lot of kids will do it.  You don't have to be a freak of nature to excell in baseball.

Webb Simpson was the 15th first time Major winner in the last 15 majors.  Furyk choked it up at the end, but a good win for the 26 yr old Simpson.

The Hossler kid is pretty awesome.  Tiger isn't playing well.  Major champions Furyk and McDowell with the lead.  Should be a good Sunday

The are recruiting him as a DB.  He can run and had a great showing in the drills the Ags put him through.  People are reporting that A&M is trying to get him to graduate early and enroll in college in January so they can count his scholarship towards this year.

17 yr old Amature Beau Hossler is tied for the lead at -1.  I couldn't imagine being in that spot at 17 yrs old
