1.
I have a theory about all the homeruns..just a theory mind u. All those new Easton bats that are handed out to all the teams at the WS are hotter than they're suppose to be. Way too many kids of avg size and swing mechanics just flat out killing the ball, with several of the HR's going over 300'. When every kid watching the series on tv sees this, they immediately decide they need that bat when it comes available..it's a grand marketing scheme, and obviously a very profitable one.
Interesting theory.  It also has a lot to do with the pitchers they are facing.  The pitchers in the WS are throwing a lot harder than most kids in league play, thus the ball goes further when hit.
2. Japan wins the LLWS 12-2 on a walk off 2 run bomb.  That was the kids 3rd HR of the game.
3.
I know they backed up the fences 25 feet a few years ago, but does something else need to be done?  It seems like there are 5 or 6 homeruns every game I have watched.  Does Little League need to take notes from College & HS and go to a BBCOR type bat?
There has been 6 hr's hit in the first 4 innings of this championship game.  I feel like I'm watching slow pitch softball.  In the American championship yesterday the teams combined for 40 runs and 7 hr's!!
4. Kid from Tennesse just hit his 5 HR and has now homered in all 5 of Tennesse's games. Japan up 5-1 in the 4th
5. Japan is loaded.  That big lefty can swing it.  I'm not sure why teams keep pitching to him.
6. I believe AI said it best.  ;D [Hidden Content]
7. The lefty, Kotaro Kiyomiya for Japan hit a bomb earlier that traveled 310 feet!!  That is his 61st HR in Japan's 50 games this summer.
8.
I think if a parent can afford to pay that for their child then so be it. Nothing wrong with it in my eyes. If not there are plenty of other nice shoes to choose from that look nice.
If they can afford it is they key.  What about those that can't and have to rob, steal, and even kill to get them?  Is it irresposible of LeBron to allow Nike to make a shoe that expensive? There are plenty of shoes that are way more expensive than these, but their target consumer isn't 10-25 yr olds with not much money.
9. Nederland really, really needs some turf on that field.  Maybe we can get Smitty to put up his house, since we can't get a bond passed.  :D
10. [Hidden Content] Alright, who's camping out to get their hands on these?
11. I love football as much as anyone, but no way in He'll I would ever put up my home as colateral on new field turf for my high school!!!  Idiots! [Hidden Content]
12. Nice win for Uganda in a consolation game over Oregon
13. I just watched the piece on the team from Uganda. They are the first team from Africa to ever make it to the LLWS.  Listening to their stories and experiences is what LL and sports in general are all about.  It was pretty awesome so see how some of the other teams have taken to them and wanted to help.
14. I know they backed up the fences 25 feet a few years ago, but does something else need to be done?  It seems like there are 5 or 6 homeruns every game I have watched.  Does Little League need to take notes from College & HS and go to a BBCOR type bat?
15. The Astros should sign him.  At least he would put some butts in those empty seats.
16. He's 50!!!  Maybe he found another "fountain of youth" that the MLB doesn't know about yet.  :D [Hidden Content]
17. [Hidden Content] I guess he didn't like the umpire
18. The 6'3" kid for California strokes the baseball.  He's 6-7 with 2 bombs in their 2 games so far.
19. This is always fun to watch.  There have been some good games so far. Who wins?
20.
Promoted their AAA manager to interim. Tony DeFrancesco [Hidden Content]
He shouldn't have much trouble making out the lineup today.  He has coached everyone on the team except Altuve, Bogey, & Tyler Green already this year.
21. I went to the game last night.  The entire starting lineup for that game had 31 homeruns this season combined!  It's hard for anyone to win games with team full of minor leaguers.

23.
Is the back-up QB as good as Raines for NED?
Sage Seay is starting at db as a sophomore and will probably be the QB the next 2 years.  From my understanding he hasn't seen any snaps at QB in practice.
24.
This "game" I mean scrimmage should draw a good crowd at bulldog stadium tonight with PNG being off and them facing WOS in a few weeks and Nederland down the road.
I had free tickets and a ride to the Astros game.  I would bet the attendance of these games would be pretty close.  I should have went to the football game.
