Ewers named starting QB

Both teams looked ok. I don’t watch many scrimmages and now I remember why. Both teams were slipping all over the wet turf early. Pretty sloppy start D-lineman #16 for LCM is going to be a problem. He was dominating. PNG seemed to tackle better than years past. PNG D did struggle stopping the QB run where you can’t touch the QB. Not sure how you call a QB run, and can’t let the QB get hit, but whatever. Both teams lost on big plays when someone got close to QB and wouldn’t have made the sack Overall it wasn’t bad work for both. I don’t get why a team would give up a scrimmage for extra practice last spring? Seems like a lot of work to get done before the first game next week. In Nederland we just practice in the spring and still play 2 scrimmages. Not sure what the big deal is Buddy….
