RB from Dayton is a gamer. He's just not getting any help from the rest of the squad. Hopefully they can keep this same energy in BH

22-8 Crosby when I left at 1:20 to go. Penalties hurt both teams. Dayton had two inside the 10 before half. One of which negated a TD. Crosby had 3 fifteen yard penalties in the third all of em on 3rd down with Dayton behind the sticks. A face mask, PI, and a unnecessary roughness hit out of bounds. Which lead to a Dayton TD.

Who won the JV game?

Watched the Fr. grade game and Dayton does have some good players on that team. Heard that they moved 3 of them up to varsity. If that's the case they will definitely be dangerous in years to come.

I wouldn't overlook anyone in the district at this point. Dayton is gonna come to play unless they get down big early.

I agree with that last part. But part of the reason they were ahead was because Dunn was immobile the first 3qtrs they started each drive with great field position. They should’ve blown us out. Those old Marshall teams from a couple years back would killed Crosby with that kind of field position. With a healthy Dunn and C. Marshall playing the entire game we still beat em. IMHO.

Marshall wasn’t that good. The only reason that game looked the way it did was because Dunn was injured at the start. Remember PNG nearly knocked them out in the first round. Ned just laid down for them the next round.

Definitely a fluke. The stars lined up just right for em but it made that state run that more spectacular. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Coming in the underdogs every week.

Huntsville needs to take King off the schedule. King is a legit 6A now with 6A size and talent. They won’t be seeing anything like that in 5A football.

Not me. Lol. This group is cool for sh*t talking and some amateur game analysis thass it. At the end of the day its up to these young men (and women) we are raising to do their jobs.

I wouldn’t say afraid. You just prepare and play against spread teams all year and then you got this 1950’s style offense that can cause you real problems just because you’re not used to seeing it.
