Time out. Yes and I would have as a coach as well. The Offense was not lined up and there was confusion. If you noticed the Line and receivers were running around shifting and apparently they were not getting into the right formation. As a coach you want them to execute as planned. I'm sure he wanted them to learn the play correctly. PNG coaches expect them to execute the plays in the right way. And the players on the field at that time were all 2nd and 3rd team backups.

Hate to say it, but you can't predict MCM ! Its a whole different beast at this game. You can only wait for the cards to fall as they may ! One thing for sure, you can bet there is gonna be some great football tomorrow night !

To bad the school district won't let fans tailgate in one of the parking lots when school gets out at 3. Of course no alcohol. Just some good times !

Its not very often you have as much talent and speed in a backfield as Livingston does at one time on the field. You can't just focus on one running back and design your D to stop him. You have to focus on 4 in the back field with speed. Their big back is a Earl Campbell type back. Can't just hit him and expect him to go down. Have to go with Livingston in another close game. 

With realignment next year, who knows were you could end up. Don't know your enrollment numbers. If for some odd reason Lumberton ends up in a large 3A district, you might roll thru em all. Also, talent ? Talent is there, it just needs to be discovered and worked with. Seems like ya'll should have beat LCM last night. Like others said, stats don't win games. I wouldn't try and run off a good coach. All of your players seem to respond well to him and keep fighting no matter what is happening in the games.

I think everyone should be thankful that no one was hurt or did something stupid while up there to end ones life or that of another. If it was my kid, he would have to remove himself from the team and have to have one of my boots surgically removed. I know teens do stupid things, I did, but to put yourself in that situation and now ruin your opportunity to play ball,question I would ask them, if I were their Dad, Was it worth it ?, are you happy with the outcome ? (coming from a dad of 4 teenagers)

Livingston went for it on 4th downs. PNG stopped em I think 2 or 3 times on 4th down plays. The D for PNG played a descent game. The O gave the ball up in deep territory to many times. Livingston is a good team with lots of speed. Their O will wear your D down if you allow them to stay on the field. Great game, closer than the score indicates. Stats on total were fairly close. ? How does a Defense have a delay of game ?

Should be a shoot out game. Lots of yardage covered.

Speed and a hoss back for Livingston. Kudo's to Livingston. PNG stopped themselves to many times when they could have scored. Sounded like it was a yellow flag throwing game too. Wasn't there, listened on the radio. Learn from the mistakes and get ready for Nederland. Livingston sounds like the real deal.

I was on my way and a dang sensor went out on my truck. Just replaced it too, RECALL replacement at that. Had to have the truck towed back home. Had my ticket for the game. Oh well atleast I can listen to it. Does anyone know if there is a live internet video feed of the game ?

Also PNG had Several Sophomores playing on the D line due to injuries for the TC game. With Davis back and Thompson possibly back, PNG will play more tight. PNG has had 3 D linemen out. 2 are expected back Friday night. This will be a great game. Who can stop who ?

This bye week has been good for PNG with players healing up. Several who are starters on O and D.

May God guide and comfort all these boys families and community in this time of heartache. Our prayers are with you. My wife knew one of the boys involved as a neighbor til his family moved. My Son knew one as well. A friend of a friend. The Lord is with the families in this difficult time. We as unseen friends on this site pray for all families, friends and community.

Is Livingston running the slot T or the spread ?

I feel if you can take down their O line you have a chance at stopping their run game more effectively. They pull alot of O linemen on their plays. If you can mess that up you got the chance to break up the play. JMO.

20-4A is gonna be a defensive district. Those with the best D goes to playoffs
