Alot of speculation. We have to wait til next year to find out. The numbers for each classification could change alot. Hard to say. If the numbers for big school 3A change and go up then you could have schools like LCM, Ozen, Lumberton and Livingston ending up in big school 3A districts. Just alot to think about til then. The UIL does not think in logical terms JMO. Kinda think in terms of a oxymoron. LOL !

Personally I think BH is getting way to over confident. Could come back to bite you on your ars regardless of who you play in round 1. Even if you make it thru round 1, second round your gone anyway.

I can understand wanting to rest your players. But with that bunch of players in Vidor, I don't see many if any taking the night off against Livingston. Vidor plays with alot of heart and I'm sure those boys want to win their last home game of the season. I think someone said its their Senior night as well. I could see playing your starters for the first half and see how things look for the second half. Also I think a win going into the playoffs gets the momentum rolling again. Just my thoughts.

Alright the game is over, what has happened has happened. Nothing and no-one can go back and change anything. Now its time for both teams to focus on their next games. I for one know that Vidor is a very good team and will represent 20-4A very well in the playoffs. I can tell you that if Vidor plays on a different day than PNG then I will be there watching them play and yelling them on. To me in the playoffs I pull for PNG and all South East Texas teams ! Except if they play PNG of course. I predict for Vidors game with Livingston to be close till the 3rd quarter when Vidor goes on a scoring rampage and blows the Lions out. If Vidor starts passing a bit more then you will catch alot of teams off guard and make some huge plays. All in all, Great game Friday night, Vidor is a very good team, they will do great in the playoffs. Yes your D is good, very aggressive and quick.

Congrats to the DOGS !!!!! Now go show the state that 20-4A means business !!!

Honestly I see Vidor winning this game.Its in Vidor and I don't think Coach Matthews is gonna want to go into the playoffs with another loss. I don't see him holding anyone out for this game. He knows they need this victory to bring up their spirits and doubt. I look for Vidor to win by 10.

I would never underestimate Central.I don't care if they are down. They always seem to get fired up to play PNG.

Riley is 6' 245lbs.Yes on the D line.  I think he is also the strongest player on the team. Remember we have had some good players out on injuries. Alot of them are back and are ready to play.

You really can't argue with the BH fans. They feel they already won the state title and will beat any team in the state. They enjoy trashing any team they can. I have a feeling Karma will get em in the first round regardless who they play.

Heard Vidor sold out as well. So looks like another sell out game ! The REZ will be crazy !!!

You may not really  know till after next weeks games. To many variables about who the #1 and #2 seeds will be in the DII columns. If PNG wins out in District and Livingston losses one game, then you would end up with either Livingston or Ozen. PNG would be DII #1 seed in this scenario. If PNG losses 1 game and Livingston wins out then PNG will more than likely go DII #2 seed and that would put PNG vs Barbers Hill in round 1. PNG still has Vidor and then Central. Livingston still has LCM and then Vidor. Alot of things can happen between now and 2 weeks from now. So looks like you may have to wait to see who you play till next Friday. So don't let your anxiety get to you.

I see Nederlands D shutting the door on Ozen. Nederlands D is just too good for Ozen. I see Nederland winning by atleast 2 TD's.

In all my years of playing football, pee wee thru college I never took a knee. Our coaches called us to the sidelines to discuss what we needed to do and work on the next play. I agree with several of the soccer comments. Somehow soccer traditions ended up in football. After the games we would walk out onto the field and meet the other players. Usually the player your were up against and say good game. I think the biggest statement made last night by any fans was LCM. The booing was uncalled for towards the players. Our boys are doing exactly as they are told. If it is your tradition to take a knee then so be it. But don't push your frustrations at players. BTW. There were players who did pray for the injured man. There were also fans in our stands praying for this young man.

If this is how it pans out there will be some huge games in just the first round. Angleton vs Manvel, Lamar C vs Dawson. Those 2 really stand out. Of course the biggest for me would be PNG vs BH.

Would be interesting if Ozen won this game. I think it would really mix up the playoff race some.

I have to throw in Miller from PNG. He is a dual threat as well. He also has some very good passing yards to date.

Honestly, I thought a team only had one rival. How did Vidor get so lucky to have so many. They must be the rich people over there since they can afford to have so many rivals in sports. We are just poor folks in mid county. We can only afford one Rival.
