I don’t know what games you have been watching, but I have seen numerous  teams score, dunk and so on with it a lot more then 10 points. if you can’t handle it don’t play it goes both ways.

He's not as fat as James Harden currently is and plays harder for his team. Probably has a better attitude too.

Hmm. Heard the “average” Lumberton player dropped 30+ again tonight while going 10/10 from the ft line. That’s 30/31 Ft the last two games. 

By the way Brock had 37!!! 

no he didn't have rabbit ears i just have loud voice that carries too far.....LOL

Here let me say something nice about Raider basketball.
Those other two games Lumberton played Silsbee tonight, they came out and were playing to win. Just a few short years ago, they would of had that deer in headlights look as soon as the ball was tipped off. They played hard tonight and didn't look scared at all, even though they did end up losing by 20 (freshman game). And really I'm starting to think our freshman team could beat the JV one.
I really like Coach Mitchell. He was trying get it through his kids head all night to toughen up. Y`all had better hope he sticks around for a while.

I would be embarrassed if I was a Silsbee parent the way their players were acting. If they would just have respect it would have been good. 

I wouldn't go that far.. However, this may be the best chance the Raiders will have to beat the Tigers in quite some time.

Lumberton basketball isn’t the same in previous years, these guys play really hard, they are well coached. 

Lumberton has a very good team. Silsbee is young. Never know. 

Why disrespect the Raider basketball boys? They are playing some good basketball and could very well win tonight 

There's an easy formula for frustrating and beating Silsbee this year.
Simply get a lead (any kind of lead) then slow the game down and run your half court offense. Only take good shots or attempt lay ups. Take a good minute off the clock each time if you really want to frustrate some Tigers. Run all of this through McClure, and maybe the Raiders will pull this one out.
Sounds simple enough in theory.
Whether or not Lumberton has the personnel to pull this off remains to be seen.
We start two freshman and two sophomores, so we are very young. We also have a lot of improving to do. I hope we approach this game like it's a win or go home playoff game Friday night.
 

I see Mr McClure had 42 & 16 last night.   Friday will be interesting.  It is really tough to handle the waves of pressure that Silsbee throws at you for an entire game.   I expect Brock will perform admirably, much like I hear Boudreaux from BC did last night against the Tigers.  When you have seasoned, 3 and 4 year starters, it certainly helps.  
 
This game will be the one to watch.   Regardless, I think this is the 1-2 matchup most of us expected at the beginning of the season.  Hope both teams have a competitive, healthy game. 

And up next comes the train. Friday is going to be a good game.

Yeah I understand.  I watch about 50 games a summer involving Hs seniors to be.   In all games, at least half of the kids are D1 players.  In about half of those games, 90%+ of the kids in uniform are D1 players.  Many of them are high D1.   6 of the 1 round picks in this year’s draft played in those games, including the number 1 overall pick.   2 of the likely top 3 picks in next year’s draft were involved in said games.   So I’ve been fortunate to see what a D1 (whether it’s a high major, high mid, mid mid, or low mid) looks like.   Brock is without question a D1 and I will say he will get significant minutes, even as a freshman next year.  

Lumberton Coach is losing his mind calling a timeout just before the half to chew some kids out in a 57-18 game... He coaches them hard, I’ll give him that.

Lumberton is up by 50 they grab an offensive rebound and score. Immediate timeout, their coach is pissed again lol this guy is giving it his all.

If I am Vidor, I am not sure I want this to be the first game back vs the L Town Boys

I don’t know about that but I stand by my earlier prediction that LCM has a better chance of missing the playoffs than winning the district.   I do think Lumberton can challenge Silsbee based on McClure and coaching.  Silsbee is still the favorite. 

Yea, Silsbee is in trouble...

I know it’s only one game but some people may need to re-arrange those district predictions. 

Wow, lumberton came to play!!!!! Those kids flat out played hard tonight!! 

you gotta say Lumberton also they finished ahead of Fannett and beat them twice. 

mountain hasn’t climb yet still a lot of ball left but those 2 coaches do a very good job. 

There 2 of the best and those schools should be Happy to Have them.
