Atascocita is really good but beatable...they shoot a tone of 3's...

I've seen teams beat the breaks off a team then turn around and struggle against that same team. Key, mental maturity...which means a great team, not good team will get up against an opponent you suppose to beat by 50...

If Ozen  was to play against Atascocita the approach would be different...When you know that a team can beat you, you play with a sense of urgency...P.A played with that urgency and that's why the game was different...

Central plays hard no matter what...different mentality...different type of kid...

Game summary:

Ozen took P.A. lightly and it almost cost them the game...

P.A. played with energy and a sense of urgency...

Last time I checked P.A. Beat Ozen last year and Ozen went to State....

Ozen clearly wasn't mentally focused...They took P.A lightly...On any given day anyone can be beat...

A season is like a roller coaster ride...

That central team last year would have lost to several ozen teams in the past....

Can't forget about Emmanuel McElroy, B.J. Tyler, Steve Jackson, Darrell MacArthur. ..Daniel Ewing

That team was good but lost in the 2nd round....so therefore can't be considered the best team...

Fox has Russell Westbrook  Athleticism but lack that drive and that passion...A.K.A. missing that dog in him...

Talent  wise he's one of te best but mentality  wise top 50 in greater houston  area history...

Oh, I gotcha.   Hard to believe they would though.  The way they played a tough WB team tonight, I think they will be near the top of their district.   And the man puts more kids in college than the UNCF. ..

 First of all, Central not putting more kids in college...i believe Central put 14 in 2015 and Ozen put 13...the year before that Ozen put 14 guys into college....

Please stop lying to these kids about central putting more kids in school....I'm not here to debate but share facts...

He is a great and beat a lot of hall of fame coaches...it's hard to find a championship team without a stud or two...

In coaching its more then X's and O's...you can draw up the best plays but if you don't have the players to execute it, it doesn't matter....

He's one of the best game managers Texas has ever seen....

Ozenfinest you need to stay in lane when it comes to basketball...You messy for no reason....You probably hate on Jesus too...Anthony a great guy but not ready to be a head coach yet...He's very knowledgeable about the game of basketball but lacks  maturity...

In time he may be a great head coach but it's more than X's and O's...

As far as southeast Texas basketball, there's probably about 7 or 8 championships since 2001...from Ozen,  Kountze,  H.J., Evadale,  And probably some more I'm missing...

As far as basketball,  southeast Texas is more of a Gumbo style....A little mixture of everything...

Coach Boutte said himself that Frankie needs to get that job...

Beaumont has 8 Basketball State championships...

That Southeast Texas style has 2 state appearances from central and ozen the last years...
