Collegiate athletics is a very tough battlefield. This is terrible for Mississippi State's recruiting in Texas though. Texas HS football is a brotherhood of a different type. And coaches talk. Rest assured this will be in the back of the mind of every coach who deals with Miss. State recruiting their kids.

Ennis has a huge wide receiver that I hear is great at playing jump ball. 6'6" from what I hear. He will be hard to contain. I heard a lot of ElPaso folks taking about him. I think we have a little taller defensive back than the eagles do but still going to be hard.

Man Buddy, I thought you were going to root for CP...... Lol, should be good. Both sides have play makers on both sides of the ball. Can't wait.

well said. I am not sure how many you lose but you have great talent. I am pretty sure you will be right back in the thick of things. Maybe we will meet again, this time in your backyard. Did they ever say if the QB was ok? It looked to be maybe a high ankle sprang.

Indianforever, this guy does not deserve your time. He has already proven he has nothing of worth. He lives on this board to try and get under people's skin, worthless. He has no credibility what so ever. He started sending me personal messages, for which I am eternally grateful, telling me what I could do. He has a short temper probably due to short comings in other aspects of his life.

Chump I was on the field for PNG at the state game in 1999...what else you got...that's something you will never experience chump

Congrats CP this game went about the way I thought it would. Ennis will be a much tougher matchup and shoud be a great game. Also congrats to Crosby on a great year. Winning the region was a great accomplishment and the kids should be proud.

No shame in losing to a better team. Sounds like after the first 2 drives CP made some adjustments that clearly worked. Great season, the young men made the community proud.

I personally think all these cheerleaders could use a little help in the creativity department. Most of the times their signs suck, and that's Crosby included before anyone takes offense.

CP-TWolf congrats on your win best of luck next week at state. I had a good feeling after you guys played aledo the first game of the year in the new McNair field you would most certainly be playing for state. If Im not mistaken you lost to Aledo by just a small amount using your back up QB. Any good win over a very good Crosby team and good luck next week!

Thomas was a beast as usual. He had some really good runs on offense, scored and great defensive stops.
