It goes both ways I do believe some WOS fans were calling for theres a year or so ago and they were in the playoffs.You gottem on both sides.

It looked like WOS was just to small on the defensive front to match up well with Vidor.

There was some tuff shots by both teams tonight. I was surprised there were not more shaken up on both sides

The O-Line is hugh and athletic and they really get after people.You will be impressed Hal when you see them play.

O-Line looked great,backs were quick to the hole.overall I give us an A- on offense and defense. would have been A+ if not for the turnovers. I also thought we showed very little of the offense in this game which is a good thing seeing all the teams that were there scouting.Whats your thoughts piratefan

Iam a Pirate fan tried and true but can give you no help on this one. How can you not be impressed with WOS? All they do is win over there and make the playoffs every year. Coach Hooks does a great job and has one of the areas elite programs

By the way what games from last year did you make this observation from. How about the Kelly vs. Vidor game which was supposed to be a blow out. What was the score?? 15-7. I don't remember those big boys being able to do much against kellys undersized d- line Vidor had 230 rushing yards against Kelly last year.Vidor had problems holding on to the football last season and kicking issues early in the year. These 2 issues not the o-line were the problem. By the way Kelly had some pretty good kids at the skilled positions last season.

Yea the officials gave the home cooking to the offense. Faircloth was quoted as saying he would get the houston chapter to do the scrimmage next year. ;D

The backs were very quick indeed. The first team offense and defense looked very good for Vidor I thought. The 2nd team defense needs some fine tuning curious to see come district how many we will have go both ways? The offense is very hard to defend with these quick backs we have I know i lost it several times myself. It was kinda funny watching kids from both teams chasing someone who did not have the ball. Coach mathews get the soccer coach to get us a kicker!!!!!!!
