Thats not my question. How does it make you better by playing a tuff schedule? You either got the horses are you dont is what it comes down to. In your theroy you can find that out playing a weak team if you lose or barely get by them you get the same result.

Excellent post!!!! While I would like for us to play bigger schools it aint happening this year. The kids have to show up and play whos in front of them.What I dont understand is the conception that it makes your team better if you play a tuff non district schedule. someone show me some proof that this is fact. I believe that this is strictly a coaches descision on what he thinks is best for his team.Some play it tuff and some wont. I think your reference to the Texas schedule should put this matter to rest.

Seems like the majority of the people talking about them are people like you that are not even from Vidor. If your worried say your worried. Dont be scared.I dont believe there has been a thread started by someone about this team that is from Vidor.

Man is it me or has the WO-S scrimmage completely gone to Vidor's head? It started out where i was feeling like it would be neat for Vidor to win district since they NEVER win . But now im like anybody but Vidor please take it. Central will definatly be hand full this year for sure. I hope this years game is as good as last years was. With Vidor coming out on top this time ;D. Last years game between these two had more big hits in it than I can rember.

Not as big as those at Kelly or St. Thomas. Kelly was bigger than PNG do not know about St Thomas I was at the Reservation watching You. Kelly has a linebacker #45 that I believe would start on any team in the area he was everwhere when we played them.I believe his name is Quinn?

When you put up the kind of offensive numbers that Vidor has against anybody it gets peoples attention.Png better stop worrying about who Vidor has played and keep trying to improve a team that went 3 and 7 last year and lost to Vidor if I remember correctly.That Vidor team played the same schedule as this one.Face it BH outplayed you and killed thereselves with turnovers and both the private schools we played would have beat Crosby Friday night.

I agree with it all except the passing. We are averaging over 5 yards a carry with 9 in the box.When and if they stop the run we can throw it. I guarantee you if we came out throwing and turned it over this message board would be going crazy.Lets let the coaches game plan there doing a pretty good job.

i went also, can't blame png for this. i doubt the png's coaching staff reviewed the film either. png fans, what happen to tip ? Dont blame them at all. You have to play who lines up across from you.

I would rather be water boarded than to watch this again.I went to the res. to check out the new statium which is first class by the way.The game was just not very good IMO.Crosby was terrible so it was hard to see how good PNG really was.With that being said I liked the offense coach Faircloth has brought in and they may get in the playoffs with it. Would like to see how they do against a team that runs the ball pretty well. There linebackers and defensive line looked a little undersized to me.

Knowing what they are gonna do is one thing stopping its another.Everyone knows were gonna run it but they have had trouble stopping it.You can put kids in position to make plays all day long. But at the end of the day there still kids and there in lies the problem sometimes.

Parity in the district is unbelievable this year. Its gonna be a dog fight right down to week 10. I see a very good team getting left out.

How many D1 offers do you have at this time? I doubt all these schools some that have won national championships are wrong.

Exactly. A good coach doesn't coddle his players. I bet that kid dreaded going into the locker room at halftime. A good coach shows instant disapproval at the first sign of wrong doing. Better to nip it in the bud now, not wait until district when the game start counting and your players are still committing stupid penalties. OH Yes........ leading with FEAR is so much better than leading with respect. I forgot these kids are in the NFL and not just high school kids. Coaches get fired for that type of behavior in public schools.If I had kids that went to Kelly, I would want to see him gone. Man he didnt pistol whip him are anything! He chewed him out made his point and moved on. I thought they did an excellent job

He did not man handle him. He gave him an old fashion butt chewing because he got a dead ball personnel foul called on him after they had stopped Vidor on 3rd down. This gave Vidor a first down and they scored on the next play.The parents need to worry about the behavior going on in the stands instead of a coach doing his job. By the way I thought the Kelly coaches did a great job. 45 was a beast at middle linebacker.
