I think Hempstead will be the surprise! EC will probably be 4th behind the "new 3". Unless they develop a lot faster than I expect, but don't see them getting any higher than maybe 2nd.

Just for the sake of the argument, Kountze never lost to Ozen by double figures under the helm of Todd Southerland. Also Milby was ranked 4th in the nation, and went on to win the 5A State Championship that capped off their undefeated season. I just so happened to be in Kountze tonight for a JH game.

Favorite- EC (Not bias) best gym and consession stand! I think everyone will agree! Least Favorite- The Wack, I think it has a magic spell on EC lol

I'm the district with Deweyville, Evadale, and etc. I'm not sure what that district is.

An interesting move is Woden to 2A. They usually have solid basketball program.

I'm fine with this district it really allows us to play more competitive teams, instead of like last year K-Ville was the only true competitive game. Also you forget about JV/JH teams having to travel on Thursday nights, and that for small schools JV/JH coaches are varsity coaches, also. So every week we will send 1-2 buses out. Which we will have less travel in the district so it doesn't matter. I think that is what the topic was started about.

I sure would like to see this one played in a playoff preview at EC...maybe a little bias on location lol

Silsbee-BS would be a very interesting match-up. I think the depth and athleticism of Silsbee would be the difference. They would out last BS.

Deweyville is the 2nd scrimmage I'm not sure on who the team is, but it's very unlikely to be Deweyville. I can almost guarantee that.
