EC finally showed up with some intensity, and played very well! Still need some improvements, but maybe that Kountze loss woke them up.

Guess we will see in a few weeks...

The team who played in the first half against Stafford

Nederland will surprise some teams down the stretch. They are as well coached as anyone, and have some kids that can play.

This is a very interesting matchup. If the EC squad that played Big Sandy and Stafford shows up I think EC pulls away in the end, but you never know which EC team will show up. What are y'all's thoughts?

Kountze didn't attack the basket to draw fouls, they didn't need to with the way they shot the mid-range and 3 ball. EC's was in the bonus both halves, bc of Kountze aggressive defense. And EC attacked the basket more, but couldn't finish at the rim! Silcox and the freshman Davis seemed to be the only two that could.

The difference in the game doesn't even show up in the stats posted. It was the missed layups for EC, if EC makes half of the layups they missed this is a different ball game. Not taking anything away from Kountze they played outstanding!

Great game by Kountze, they came to play! Cole, Stanford, and Arnold were the difference. We didn't have an answer for them on the offensive end of the court, they shot lights out! EC needs to regroup, and get past this Kountze block!

I'm predicting EC wins district this year, and is top two the next 4 years. Very strong classes coming up!

I agree. I've seen EC have two teams this year, but they seem to show up when they need to.

Tonight 7:30 first game of district play. I've seen EC numerous times, I haven't seen Kountze, but once in a live feed. Give me EC by 10, EC will handle the press, and out rebound Kountze. I think they are just the more complete team.
