I've been impressed with what I've read about Salado, sounds like they are the real deal.  But these folks are fixing to jump in a lion's den wearing a pork chop vest.  I'll take my chances with the Chain Gang. Should be a good one though.

UIL schedule (Maxprep) shows Newton playing Thursday at 5 pm. That is wrong also, they play Friday at 7:30.

well here it is December football in the golden triangle and as usual its the Mustangs and the Eagles still playing -- Congrats to two outstanding programs

WOS would've made it at least to the state championship game last year even if they went under center every play of the season and ran the same play either direction.

Which is more important? Eliminating options or not turning the ball over? I'll go ahead and answer that one for you.....turnovers have got to be the number 1 cause of most losses. 

After all the high hikes, I have to wonder. Is our center trying to put the ball up on it's point. like the pros are doing now, and hiking from that position? I don't understand how the pros make it work, especially if the QB is in shotgun. Whatever is going on, it needs to change. Whatever style they need to use, it has to get the ball into the QB's hands.

I was just watching the UT game, and someone pointed out the screwy way they are holding the football, prior to snapping. One end is on the ground, and the other end is in the guy's hand! Unless those centers have really big hands, they are not going to control it like that. I don't know who came up with this style of snapping the ball, but it is NOT WORKING for WOS!

For the first time in forever, HJ had a QB who could throw. Two consecutive 30+ yarders including the first TD was impressive. Beyond that, they had the one breakaway run for a TD in the second half. That is the offensive game summary for HJ. The WO-S defense held them in check. However, this was easily the best HJ team we've seen since 2014. 
I noticed that Chaka went under center for the final drive. We might see more of this by necessity, but it is better that he be in shotgun. It's easier for him to read the defense and make quick decisions/reactions. The best case for us is to get the center snap FIXED and ASAP. If we don't, someone will knock us off in the playoffs. 

WOS might make it 3 rounds this year 

Lol, even with our major mistakes, scores called back, and  2 weeks extra practice by HJ, they had something for WO-S. Aww yea ok.

Yes we did lose but it damn sure wasn’t the WOS by whatever they wanted, putting Freshmen in at halftime like was predicted. IJS

Should have could have would have. It didn't happen. Instead HJ gives the post game loser speech!!

Yeah we should have pooched it down in their end. That could have lost the game. We got lucky with that penalty. That's a long kick even for the pros!

You can make selections that reflect merit and make sense. It doesn't matter that Coach T was expected to take a team to state, he coached and tuned the team that got them there, and did it with a team that has very darn few D1 prospects. (in fact, I have only heard of 1 D1 prospect)

I've never been the one to hold my tongue for anybody. Do i care for this list? No. Really doesn't mean anything honestly but if you want some one to speak their mind then I will be happy to. Remove Mczeal and add Kj Miller , remove Noah Lewis and add Jarron Morris. Once again, that's MY opinion.
