  1. We can see the equivalent Smoak signals from here too regarding Gilmer ;p
  2. La Vega also struggled against Lorena this year
  3. La Vega beat Argyle by 2 points last year, Celina beat Argyle handily and WOS beat Celina so I beg to differ
  4. Newton and WOS will be at ATT again just like 2014. The only difference is that they will both win this year.
  5. WOS vs PAM, PNG and Vidor in pre-district would have been fun. Maybe in 2018
  6. When you get to the fifth stage of acceptance please join the community and continue rooting for North Shore, WOS and Newton. (Not using the Oxford comma in there... refuse to do it.)
  7. Silsbee and BC played Carthage and Stafford to the wire. Remind me what the WOS vs Silsbee/BC scores were. Gilmer lost to Carthage. La Vega beat Lorena by 1 point more than Liberty. 12-4A D2 did quite well this year.
  8. Bridge City has seen a better one. Unfortunately they ended up on the wrong side of that game just like Kilgore. I think it will be closer than most expect.
  9. ccsbasketballplayer wins this one. Keep your eyes open for more in the future.
  10. Mart is indeed the last one. Hull-Daisetta is a good guess. They actually had not just Texas but the Nation's longest winning streak in the late 1930's and held that record for almost 2 decades. They won 42 games in a row which was a record in 11-man until Abilene passed it in the mid-1950's
  11. One went 51-1 from 1933-37 The other won 26 in a row from 68-70 and 30 in a row 99-00.
  12. Sealy correct. 3 more. All with the letter A in the name.
  13. Celina and Stephenville the only correct out of all of the above.
  14. 4 correct Southlake, Trinity, Richland Springs and Katy
  15. WOS could win their 24th game in a row Friday, tying their all-time record from '86-'88. Name the 10 other programs who have two separate 24 game win streaks or better including 6-man in UIL history. Ties don't count.
  16. WOS is NOT overlooking Bellville. They held us to 8 points in the first half last year. The last time that happened I believe was 24 games ago against Richmond Foster. Don't take the Brahmas lightly.
  17. We won 42-3 last year in the Quarterfinals against them. I see a similar score if not worse. WOS had a horrible first half in that game and only lead 8-3 at Half in 2015. The two teams aren't that much different now other than Bellville can prolly pass a little better. I know comparing scores isn't completely valid but they beat Bay City 14-6, Bridge City beat Bay City 39-19. They beat Orangefield 45-21, WOS beat Orangefield 60-0. Their only losses have come at the hands of Wharton 23-28, Cameron Yoe 10-33 and an on-the-field loss to Stafford 0-42 which was forfeited.
  18. It's Slot-T again.. they rely on the run but do have a QB who has passed 700 yards or so. [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content]
  19. Good job Hawks! You almost pulled it off after I've had to listen to SO many Giddings peeps saying they'd roll right past you.
  20. But eh... some algorithms have BC and Stafford pretty much equal. The game still must be played. [Hidden Content]
  21. Don't let that 8-4 record fool you. Stafford is 11-1 on the field with 3 forfeits including a 42-0 shellacking of Bellville. Let people underestimate BC. It works in their favor. Just like all the people saying HJ and Liberty would be destroyed because they look at the WOS game scores and we saw how that played out tonight. I'm rooting for the Cards all the way.
