I think they’ve benefited from playing some offenses that weren’t very good. They also just got held to 14 points at home. I think they lose next week something like 52-21.

Hater!! Nederland is easily the class of this area.
I think Dave Campbell’s is basing their ranking off of the fairly deep run last year, beating Crosby in the final, reputation and then won loss record. Nederland might start 5-0 and end with 0-5. I really don’t see how they’re in the top 10 but it is interesting while it lasts. 

Your backups will start playing 3rd/4th qtr.

I was told by several PNG folks before season there has been chirping going on about Faircloth. After what I witnessed last night, I’ll be surprised if he returns next year.
nederland is a team with a history of fighting for all 4 quarters. I remember a couple years ago, BH dominated Ned and all of a sudden Ned turned it on and walked out of BH with a win. Good win Bulldogs.

Who are you calling soft?  It was PNG that folded like wet toilet paper in the 4th qtr. 😀

They held WOS to 7 and Austin to 7 (I think).  PNG doesn’t have the offense that Silsbee does,  and Ned still came back and won.  I am well aware of Neds defense.

That’s freaking awesome! Games just are not like this anymore. Now everyone’s on their smart phones are gabbing with the person besides them.

Big Ned is no longer the big dog. I believe they have a few more softy spots than Png. That’s my observation of the groups that are on the field now from watching them the past few years. The wr is legit though. Not enough. 

I haven’t seen many of the games, but I think the defense will improve,  they had a tough night against a potent Silsbee offense.  But the team didn’t throw in the towel and still got the W.  This game is always a barn burner and will probably be a one score game.

No superstars in this one (except Fuselier), but there will be plenty of scrappers.  Will be the first time in many years that I will not be at the game.  Nederland's defense will be the story (and Fuselier).   Dogs by 2 touchdowns.  

I never thought I would be telling two PNG fans to get back on topic because they were arguing with each other but...

You can bet Fuselier will be put in a position to make plays....and used as a decoy.

I look for Barrow to pull one out of Neumann's playbook and put his best athlete at QB. Run a lot of zone reads and QB keepers. I can't remember the kid that they did that with years back but it was the difference in the game that year.  

Big Ned and PNG will be fast and they will hit hard next Friday with 12,471 watching, as always.  

Man come on, you sound like a kid. Trying to prove your right on something that had zero impact on the game. Silsbee was up 34-13 after that. A lot more happened after that is what really impacted the game. No one else is supporting you on this so why beat a dead horse? Silsbee was playing decent and collapsed. Should be a learning moment for a young team.

Oh look, A bad call this time that would’ve favored Nederland in the final seconds….not two quarters ago. Where’s homie at now? 

Yes Nederland was the fav we won was down big and came back. But to say it will help Silsbee more than Nederland is very premature. Unless you got a glass ball over there. If that’s the case you can PM the lotto numbers for tomorrow.  
 
bigger school reason doesn’t hold much weight. But if that’s how you feel that’s how feel. Giving up 28 unanswered points in any book is considered choke.
