the refs didn't cost y'all the forty points Eagle fans were predicting themselves to win by. Stop embarrassing yourselves.  

I just hope we can give Lumberton a better game than we did last year. I know our kids were disappointed last year when Lumberton broke "The Streak" against us. Should be a good game, hoping the Cards can grind out another win against another good team. 

Better wait until next week to get him that Miracle Ear. He's liable to break it again after he hears the Bridge City Fight Song about 40 times this Friday.

BC may or may not wake up with a 3-0 record.  But one thing that I'm sure of is they will wake up with some bumps and bruises.  This will be a physical football game between two teams that are back to playing hard-nosed football.  No matter who wins, I'm hoping for a safe and injury-free game for both teams.

Irony is a guy who named himself OneChance arguing that these two thugs be given another chance. 
 
I believe that these two gentlemen have obviously not grasped any of the life lessons that football can teach to young men.  I feel that they have forfeited all sports for the remainder of this year, and should be criminally investigated as this was a premeditated assault... The fact that it occurred during a football game doesn't change anything. I also believe that all refs should stick together and refuse to officiate any further sporting events for this school IF they believe that school administrators are unwilling to properly address this criminal behavior. I don't get the impression that administration is, based on their statement saying that they were going to investigate what "instigated the attack."

But in the meantime, we are playing host to the Fastest High School Football Team ever, in route to their 52nd consecutive state championship this Friday.  It's an honor just to have the Newton Eagles come down to show us how football is supposed to be played.

Congrats to BC. This game was ugly in a lot of ways. Several injuries, lots of unsportsmanlike calls on both sides...it could have gone either way but BC pulled it out in the end. My hats off to them. I don't think anybody is over-estimating the Wildcats. I think we were under-estimating BC. Both teams should have great seasons once the kinks are worked out.

Hold on...Dubois is good coach but he doesn't have nothing's.  Them same group of kids beat WOS when they were in 7th and took them to the limit when they were in 8th. So BC  has talent.
