Zephyr played tonight.  Tough for small schools to host and play.

I am sure that weather played a role in this game, as it did many central and north Texas game.

We lost 2 2-way starters in the 1st quarter.  So it got tougher for us right out of the chute.  Kids played hard.  It was a great year.  Thank you for your "compliment."

Cushing was one of our next options.  But their field was torn up after the game against SA and then the rain did not help it any.  

I will not tell you how many options we went through before we settled on Palestine...

Finally...

We are playing at Palestine High on Saturday @ 4:30 PM.

We have had some trouble finding a place to take us.

Mt. Enterprise had originally said yes, but 2 days later their Sup. said no thanks.  

Been very frustrating attempting to find a location.  Should have everything finalized by Monday morning.  Will post when it is finalized.

Wyatt was released from the hospital.  He suffered a concussion and a sprained neck.  We are happy that it was not more serious than that.  

Apple Springs suffered their own injuries and we wish them a speedy recovery as they have Leverrett's Chapel next week.  Good Luck to both teams.

Thanks to the SETX staff for being at the game.  Our boys were very excited to find out that we were getting some extra eyes.

Yes, AAW we run multiple tight I-formation sets, as well as spread it out.   Whatever works well for us on any given night.  Just trying to find a way to win a ball game. 

Due to weather conditions and safety of the players, travel conditions, and other circumstances.  Chester and LC agreed to flip.      Chester won the Flip.
