CS. reacted to RoschonsBigBro in PN-G FANS - A little tidbit about your QB
This was made when he was in the 7th grade. The things that you see on the field today and the person you see in the classroom are the result of God, perserverance, adhering to you dreams and putting in the work to see those dreams through.

CS. reacted to prepballfan in 22-5A Playoffs
I agree it probably was a bad call. I watched the cal many many time from 4 different angels. I still to this day do not know what the call is. I do know this. The ball just eclipsed the 10 yards needed to touch the ball. The only thing I could guess is the ref had a bad angle and thought it did not make the 10 yards, I am not sure one news source said it was an illegal touch, another place I read some sort of illegal block type deal. I have a good friend who works with TASO. I will shoot him a copy and ask his opinion on the matter. He can probably find out what the call is as well. This all being said. And assuming that Vidor would have scored. PNG still shut them out the whole second half. The reason was a simple but really good defensive adjustment that changed the dynamic of the stout Vidor offense. Vidor is one of the top offenses in district for a reason. They are difficult to play. Robanadana is right about the fact that its hard to stop when you never see it. Lets face it Vidors execution of it is stellar this season. They will be tough for any team in the playoffs!!!!

CS. reacted to 1989NDN in PNG vs Central
Go back to 1984-1988...there were plenty of small crowds back then...the same for 1994-1995...1-8-1 and 1-9 seasons tend to reduce the enthusiasm of even the staunchest fan bases. Even in the lean years, I will say that PN-G has a core group of fans, but when wins are hard to come by, so are big crowds. Now, if you want to see monster numbers, then let the Indians get three rounds deep in the playoffs. When that happens, old timers show up, alumni in Houston, Austin and the Metroplex decide to catch a game, and area schools also throw their support behind the Indians. Three rounds deep and the numbers will explode.
Hopefully this season the Indians can make some noise in the playoffs and we can have some good times ala 1974-1977 and 1999...38,000 fans in purple and white is a site to see...especially as I get older.
I agree with BMT Soljua...winning cures all...regardless of the program, when you win, the fans show up.
Go Indians. Peace.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, I've seen some fair weather PN-G fans and I've seen small PN-G crowds... It does happen...
Its crazy, but wining cures all. When your team don't win, fans dont show up and you're going to get criticized. Just the nature of the beast. Look at Ozen. Their numbers are horrible as far as numbers wise. They they don't win, fans don't come out, the Old Coach was criticized... .

CS. reacted to TxHoops in Question for PNG faithful
I've seen both. WOS would win by multiple scores IMO. That is a team that is extremely disciplined, extremely talented, and extremely well coached. PAM is extremely talented, I would even confidently say more talented. And they would lose to WOS and it wouldn't be particularly close. I know some PAM folks who agree with that assessment all the way around.

WOS would win that match up and that is no offense to PAM. WOS is just that good.

He means their backup is, which makes little sense still. Hating to hate. He hate on everything he disagrees with if you noticed from his posts. Even with his own team.
