Vidor methodically moves the ball down the field. That's what their offense is geared to do and they have very talented players running that offense. If they control the clock and pound the ball down the field and score, they can win this game. Vidor's defense has some very aggressive players with decent speed. They will hit you. Vidor will have to play their best defensive game to date. I think this will be an exciting game to watch.

Saw this at MCM....very well done.

So sorry to hear things like this. I can't give blood for medical reasons, but I am sending plenty of prayers.

Sometimes coaches are loaded with talent, then they have some lean years. That's high school sports. One thing that would help Central is to have feeder schools running the same offenses and defenses. However, in Beaumont, kids can attend any school of their choice. Buses from Ozen, Central, and West Brook all come down the same street. Just my two cents. Go Dogs!

Another great game for Hopkins no doubt. I think the telling stat for this game is Central rushing 19 times for 2 yards. What goes along with that stat is the sacks we had. Couldn't find that one, but it was several (6 or 7)?

Funny how, if you think about it, every district game has playoff implications. Some teams find themselves needing a victory to get in and now have to play the undefeated reigning district champs.  If the other games were not enough motivation, why now?!

There is a first time for everything. If people like betting the longshot, go to Delta Downs. Ned at home with an undefeated district title within reach, I look for our best performance of the season.

Angleton came in tied for 17th.

Soulja, we took an early 14-0 lead in the 1st. LCM controlled the 2nd and made it 14-7 at the half. LCM scored halfway through the 3rd and made it 14-14. It stayed that way through most of the 4th. We scored 2 TDs within a couple minutes to ice the game and LCM scored very late. LCM has a fine team and we have not had anything handed to us.  That's how I remember it anyway.

Proud, I'm on a iPad and it works for me. WHAT AN ARM!!!!! Kid rolls left and throws right handed about 50 yards. Reminds me of Warren Moon. That official is pretty fast too.
