1. Some of these same predictions were made last year.  :o
 2. Wrong again. Respect is earned, not commanded. You give yourself way too much credit. I will listen to anyone who makes sense. But when they start tooting their own horn, I tend to enjoy popping the proverbial bubble. I have even agreed with you before and spent the rest of the day watching out for lightning bolts.

That was one heckuva dunk! Couldn't be stopped even with the foul!
Jibberish? That was plain English..You know? Like BRIAN ENGLISH?  ;D ;D...I really crack myself up! Stop being so sensitive, bigdog! I support Coach E, and Big Ned...I pay taxes in Nederland! 8)
You're a legend in your own mind.  ::) Who's being sensitive. That was simply a declarative statement. .......and it's baddog.
Well,  I see how you were back in your days. ;D
Back in my days is no different than nowadays.  Am strictly a wannabe but am able to admit it. But Dove, maybe you can answer the question I am about to pose.  In the following comparisons, tell me if the better athlete/alleged superior talent is also the better basketball player 1.  Kevin Love vs JaVale McGee 2.  Dirk Nowitzky vs Lamar Odom 3.  Larry Bird vs Dominique Wilkins 4.  Sam Perkins vs Kevin McHale 5.  John Stockton vs Nate Archibald 6.  Tim Duncan vs James Worthy
Unless its Isaiah Thomas, I really don't care. He was smart, quick, athletic, a scorer, a passer, and those are the players I liked to watch.
My favorite Isiah Thomas pass was at the end of game 5 in the '87 conference championships. Great pass to Larry Bird, who fired it to DJ for the game winning basket. Classic Bird! Love watching that replay! [Hidden Content]
Yep, I can see why Dove hates him. Bird ranks up there with Jordan and Magic. Whether Magic and Jordan had more championships than Bird, you can't leave Bird out. I sure won't.......ever.
 6. Gee, and Dean Smith would have gone to the four corners with a two point lead and five minutes left. Imagine a fifty point lead at half what would he have done.
 7. I couldn't care less if English does not quite have the credentials as Boutte. That fact that any coach who does not think English is great and can give him credit must have been a clip board toter. English is trying to win district, make the playoffs and see if we can take off, just like any other team hopes happens for them. How close did you "sniff" a championship as a HC? That's what I thought.

Do we have to go through all of this again?
Awww thats cold! ;D....Just Memorial huh?...cold...I noticed it yesterday, and was just wondering, because when it was LINCOLN.... ::) ::) ::)...You know the rest, I assume...If they are circulating more in Nederland and Port Neches, maybe they should call it the MID COUNTY NEWS.....I live in Nederland, but I was just wondering... 8)
The Beaumont surprise snubs us. What's a guy to do? Mid County News is fine with me and it would be successful.
 9. .....because it's Ned and PNG.....and it's well.....Memorial.  ;D There is more circulation of the PA News in Ned and PNG than there is in PA. Do we have to go through all of this again?
 10. He's always on the side of the "Beaumont" teams, so I thought maybe he moved to Houston from Beaumont.
 11.
BUT after NEXT week's trips through Beaumont...... [move]2!![/move] The NEW streak!! 8)
Dude, do you hail from Houston? Who is your team so I can rag on them?
 12. Thanks for the updates..........28!!!!!!!!
 13.
Nederland has a good basketball team but i wouldn't be suprised if we lost to central or ozen or both at beaumont because they are also good teams. But i sure hope that doesn't happen.  ALMOST everyone on here that is not from nederland is hater and been looking for a reason to say "i told you they would lose" for 27 district games. When we aren't playing central or ozen i pull for them and when the playoffs start i'll pull for them and LCM. Yet most beaumont fans except soulja will still pull against us. Why us that?
Do you see any crybabies from Lumberton, LCM, PNG, or Livingston? Ha Ha, gotta love it.
 14. You misunderstand as usual. The Rockets would be the next team someone pulls out of their hip pocket to beat us. Hey, if and when we lose, we lose. I didn't think district games were important enough to bet on.
 15. I love it!!!!! Now we are paired against Wheatly and Yates!!!! Who the heck else from around here can beat those teams? Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!! I love it!!!!! Keep squirming. Next up, the Rockets!!!!!
 16. I thought I read where the sun made the turf brittle.
 17.

The thing is, we haven't won anything yet except district and have a good win streak going. But even that is tearing some people a new one, and like I said, I love it.
On a serious note, I think some just look at it as odd, because its new and totally unexpected by many...What if LUMBERTON started winning district 20-4A the way that its set now, and won 27 or more district games in a row? YOU BADDOG would be shocked too!!  ;)...You're a Nederland fan, so its not quite as shocking, however, its a proud feeling, as you very well should be....I am happy for Coach E, but I would be lying if I said it didnt seem strange to me...NEDERLAND? BASKETBALL? WINNING? Those three words never went together in the past....Times change, and teams do too, apparently! 8)
If Lumberton began winning basketball games like that, of course I would be surprised, who wouldn't? I would be as surprised as when Ozen was the #1 team in the country. But guess what, I did not nit-pick their glory years to death.....always predicting their defeat and throwing stones. That is all some of you are trying to do, but it's OK. The simple fact that you can't digest it is justice for me.
 18. The thing is, we haven't won anything yet except district and have a good win streak going. But even that is tearing some people a new one, and like I said, I love it. So why worry about these consecutive losses if championships is all that counts?
 19.
On another note.....Nederland hasn't WON anything!!! 8)....Calm down....
How's 27 straight? That's eating some people alive and I love it.
 20.
Nooooo! You mean to tell me that NEDERLAND is not a LOCK for the state title ;D
It sure ain't Ozen
 21. There's a new sheriff in town, and his name is Reggie Hammond. Y'all be cool now...right on! Go Dogs!
 22.
Thats the best NBA team ever who cares about the 80's celtics lol 1995-96 Chicago Bulls  72 - 10  (.878)  Featuring Superman (Michael Jordan), Batman (Scottie Pippen) and Rodman (Dennis Rodman), Bulls shattered record for most wins in a regular season...Won 87 of 100 games, including the playoffs...Ron Harper, Luc Longley, Toni Kukoc and Steve Kerr rounded out core of driven team that featured triangle offense...Started season an amazing 41-3...Jordan's first full season since returning from retirement.
Man, I was simply trying to make a point. When teams are having success now, one can almost always pull up a more successful team from the past and argue.
 23. ......and the 80s Celtics would mop the floor with today's team. Too bad they aren't around. How about the streak of the 50s-60s Celtics? Keep it going Dogs. Don't listen to the naysayers. When people have to reach in their hip pocket to produce a team that could beat you, you know you are doing it right.
