Wanna put somebody hot up there, you would do Halle Berry or the chick from 'Underworld' :o
That would be Kate Beckinsale. She also play the female lead in "Van Helsing"

how about coaches for that matter.......has there ever been a HC to ever win a State Title, a National Championship and a Super Bowl? I know one that has done two out of three! I think Switzer did it with the Sooners and the Cowboys.
Jimmy Johnson did it with Miami Hurricanes (HC), Arkansas (player) and the Dallas Cowboys (HC). He did not win a high school state championship in Mississippi however.

I guess this is off topic becaue I have not been here, but these pics are neat. $75 million for the entire complex. Could be the nicest in the country, I don't know.

The best one I have visited is Galena Park/North Shore. UNbelievable for a high school.
I would like to go to this one someday. It seats 11,000....Cy-Fair ISD, north of Houston.

Prayers from Nederland.

Vidors D has played well this year against some very good scrambling QBs. I do believe they will get pressure on Neds QB and I dont believe he has the scrambling ability that some of the other QBs we have seen(Livingston and St pius) I say its close within 7 either way.
I work with some guys from Vidor and they said Livingston has some huge linemen. I also read about them on this board. I know Brenham had some big guys up front and we were able to play some decent defense against them. Those ice-cream Germans are pretty big alright.
I think Ned takes this by 24-10.

Probably waiting for someone to score. :

Nederland and PNG both bring the house. It's sad when we travel to Houston and play a team that is geographically closer to the stadium and only 100+ fans show up on their side. I can only imagine what those people think when they look across at the sea of black and gold.

I guess if you have more than one TEAM, surely one of them is going to win. I don't think anyone from MC said that Nederland or PNG was going to win state. Your argument on this one is silly. Lamar is usually a good team, but when was the last time they won state or came close to winning it. They are an average 5-A school in a sub par district that just whipped the snot out of your Titans. Oh yeah, I forgot you ALSO root for LaMarque, the team that you told us wasn't the LaMarque of past. Whatever, make your mind up, and by the way we had a goose egg against them, but it was far from getting beat up. NOW, PAM got beat up by Lamar HS ;D
Ouch, I can't add anything to that.
-
I just woke up. What was the score of the PATITANs and Lamar game?
The score was 43 to "didn't want to play".
I say 43 to inept coaching or the refs, take your pick... they never get outplayed physically.
-
No titan, we just keep winning and proving you wrong, which is the sweetest thing to do. You are the one who keeps harping on the state championship junk. We focus on the playoffs, then anything can happen.
-
we are fine. what's your point??? we don't get excited about preseason victories. besides, nobody pick us to do anything anyway. so we are not the ones under the microscope. oh and lamarque is still winning...wait the state champs are still winning.
We are only under your microscope. No one has picked Ned to do anything either, except make the playoffs. What's so wrong about that? Even PAM can make the playoffs. Remember, 4 of you suckers get to go. Should be a walk in the park.

Thats alot of yards to give up on the ground!
Would it be better if it was through the air??
-
NW Florida was the better team tonight, but SLC has nothing to be ashamed of.....49 straight wins in Texas 5A, 3 -peat National Champs, won 80 of 81 games with last loss to Katy in the state title game and lost by 1 point. I'd like to see NW Miami hang a record like that.
-
Yes, he can throw the ball on a rope too. He just needs to get more comfortable. Practice with a lot of reps will do the trick.
-
BmtSoulja, I understand the 'giving away' aspect, but it wasn't the case here. I believe there was on fumble on a bad pitch to the RB, but again, he was about to be hit and probably took his eyes off the ball. Waller gave us all we could handle and our defense tightened up when it counted. We had several stops in the red zone because Waller went for it on 4th down many times. Waller's defense was tough against the run and our rushing stats reflect that. Their defense made some excellent one-on-one tackles. We had quite a few dropped passes, and I attribute that to the fact that Bellows is a southpaw. The rotation of the ball is opposite what most are used to, and it takes time to develop a feel for the counterclockwise rotation. We will get better with time and reps.
-
Actually, most of those fumbles were forced with one being a flat out takeaway for an 80 yard romp. Fumbling the snap from center is also a sign that the QB knows he's about to be hit immediately, making him jiittery, which also goes back to the defense. Waller gave us nothing, our defense earned those miscues with big hits and in your face tackling.
-
I guess the 80 yard return will go down as a fumble, but Grogan actually took the ball away from the Waller QB, after hitting him in the backfield, and raced untouched for the TD.
-
Thanks, I hate to say it, but I'm glad he's gone. He gave 110% every play. That's why I go to games, to see players play like that.

Haven't lost power. Flickered and stayed on. Cable was out but came back on a couple hours later. Please hold off on the expletives. After Rita, we were one of the last to get power restored. Everything evens out. I have a generator you can borrow, gased up and ready to go. It will not run the entire house, maybe a window unit and a fridge and a light or two.
