How about dropping the attitude? Next time you are pulled over, try saying "good evening officer" instead of the probable "wtf". You could make him feel more comfortable and realize you are not a threat. Not that I have anything to hide, I am always polite even though I am upset at the possibility of being ticketed. I try to put myself in their shoes and know I would not want to walk up on a vehicle I had just pulled over. That has to be one of the scariest moments in a policeman's life. This POS said he was having custody problems and he took it out on someone not even involved and that he was sorry. That makes it sound almost accidental. This man pulled up behind the cruiser, got out and walked up to the window and shot the officer twice in the head. How accidental/incidental is that? I don't care to hear any apologies.
