No, she did not have to die in jail. If she had done what the officer requested to start with, she probably would not have went to jail.

Exactly, we don't know what discipline was for, so why try to correlate with this incident! I don't understand the outrage shown towards this officer, he did NOT kill this woman.

I don't know why BD3 is so adamant in placing the blame on the cop. As far as I know, no cop went into her cell and hung her. As sad as that is, she did that to herself. There is only one person to blame, Sandra Bland.

Was thinking the same thing yesterday when I read the DOJ may get involved in this. I guess the liberals and Democrats see the life of a lion worthier than that of a human. It sounds like something may have been fishy about the hunt, but let Zimbabwe deal with it. Just a sad state of affairs when the life of an innocent child is thought of less than that of an animal.
