I agree that it is a lot for you, but it is not a lot.  Cut off numbers for this year in 2A is a difference of 115.  (105-220)  So, I think that they are comparable.  Tell Big Sandy that 112 kids is a lot when they are running Nederland and others out of the gym...  C'mon.  

Don't say that football is different.  2A's routinely beat 3A's, 3A's routinely beat 4A's, etc, etc, etc. 

Face it.  The level of play/talent in Colmesneil is down.  You got rid of a coach because he....lost.  The next guy will lose too.  And the one after that, and the one after that, and the one after that.  Maybe in 30 years or so you will find a group that can be successful.

That is very similar, 1 is Division 1 and the other Division 2.  Both are 2A...

Couldn't agree more.  The problem comes when we as parents, fans, alumni, forget this?  We would all love for it to be about our kid, but sometimes that is just not the case.  Sometimes our kid is just not talented enough, or doesn't work hard enough, or just doesn't want it as much as others...  And it is even tougher for us teachers/admin/coaches to sit back as our kid gets passed by because they are honestly not as good.  NOT run-off the coach because he is doing his best to win.

JV-Coach is upset because he worked at Colmesneil a couple of years ago and got pushed aside by Coach Trotter and the Super...

Just allow him to be bitter.  If you felt like you had been done wrong, you might do this as well.

He spread rumors, pretty much what people do on here.  

For those who are interested in this job:  It is Tyler County...be aware that people who are not from there will not understand how insane it can truly be.

It is cute that you think that I am from Buna.  It took me a post or 2 to figure that out.  

I graduated UH that is why I have a Cougar based Username.  Graduated from Barbers Hill, live and work in the East Texas area now.  You guys can keep telling me how poor Buna ISD's grades have become and you will continue to waste your time, because neither my kids nor I will ever live there.

They may be young, and they may have tried for it on 4th down.  But the coaches are not bad, well not compared to your use of the English language.  

Hearing that Baytown has 8-9 kids remaining after their suspensions.  Of course the kids that are suspended are 2 of their studs.

So you don't have kids, or you don't have the kids that you want?

Hate it for the kids that want to play and aren't going to have that opportunity because a coach is worried about getting embarrassed.

3 years ago Chester played with 6-7 kids, every game.  Take your medicine Coach.  Take your medicine.

WH has had a bunch of turnover the past few years, but the athletes are overall better than Colmesneils.  Coach Trotter is in a tough spot.  Can't win the Kentucky Derby on a donkey.

questions that should be asked about Colmesneil's Football Program:

How bad did we get beat?

When are we going to 6-man?

Just my opinion:

West Sabine is way to high.  

Groveton will get destroyed the 1st couple of weeks and will fall out.  

I heard that it was going to take a "trip to austin."

Alpha Omega 5 vs. Conroe lifestyle 0

Chester 5 vs. Tyler Kings Academy 1

Alpha Omega 4 vs. Tyler Kings Academy 0

Chester 3 vs. Conroe Lifestyle 0

Conroe Lifestyle 0 vs. Tyler Kings Academy 3

Chester 2 vs. Alpha Omega 1

Chester only had 1 possession that they did not score on.

Alpha Omega had a strong team good showing.

Tyler Kings Academy has some good athletes.  Have a opportunity to surprise somebody.

Conroe Lifestyle is a start up program and they struggled.   Unsure if they even had a 1st down.
