    Also, because a kid played something in PeeWee doesn't automatically qualify them for a position in high school football. QB's in peewee and QB's in high school are different. I shouldn't have to post that, but I guess it's not a widely known thing.

    I'm not so sure any of you saw the 7 or 8 guys in the backfield blowing up the play as soon as the ball was snapped. What would Tre or Kalon do with a rush like that? They'd get sacked. Neither one can throw a ball like Collins even on the off chance they get more than 2 seconds to throw the ball. O line play must improve, receivers must run smarter routes, and play calling must be better. Nothing wrong with the QB play this game.

    Just curious, how would you know about how ready the backup QB is?

    I'm not sure about the time he is getting tonight, but he takes too long to get rid of the ball. A qb gets 3-4 sec before he has to either throw or scramble. After those 3-4 sec then it's either the receiver or qb's fault. Again, I wasn't there tonight but in previous games he takes too much time to get rid of the ball.

    From what I've seen so far this season, Silsbee should consider making some personnel changes on the offense...

    I have faith in the new coach to get a line ready for these running backs... That is the primary position he'll be coaching here at Silsbee

    It's just beyond me that anyone would agree that Ozen is better for Calvin's recruiting because of the classification difference... However I do agree that if he was going to be offered by a bigger D1, he would have already been offered by now...
