I see somethings doesn't change in this particular district, Silsbee is still the King of this district until proven other wise.

I did not see anything from Nederland back court to suggest that they can handle a half court or full court press. I don't see the next game being any different from this game. I am curious to know how many rebounds and block shots BU finished with against Nederland ???

I saw BU play Bellaire and tonight against Nederland. Those teams I mentioned can match up with BU and have a bench.

What I am saying is that the neighborhood talent went to Yates because of Coach Wise, don't think Coach English would have gotten the same talent level, those kids probable would have gone else where.

Remember the undefeated National Champ Team made up of neighborhood kids went to Yates because of Coach Wise, also Michael Young allowed his sons to attend Yates so they could learn under Coach Wise. Coach English or Green would not have gotten those players. The Wheatley alumni is begging that they fire their HC, have Coach English come down to H-Town and turn this Wheatley Program around because from what I observed tonight Nederland won't be representing 5A in San Antonio no time soon.

Yates is Good with Coach Wise, it takes a special individual to coach at Yates. Don't know how many championship titles Coach English has under his belt or if the kids would play from him at Yates.

Legacy has a big team with good guard play and again big man in the middle, OK bench. BU would not be able to match up with Legacy size and speed.

BU is good but the following schools would give them an L 6A: Shadow Creek, Summer Creek, Atascocita, Westfield, Klein Forest, Elkins and Legacy SSS 5A: Hightower, Manvel 4A: Faith Family

Is Nederland missing any players ??? Nederland would be in trouble against a team that applies a full court press, because their guards are having problems tonight with the turnovers. This Nederland Team was undefeated before tonight ????

Nederland can not handle ball pressure and too many turnovers. BU should have run this team off the court. BU only 14 pts. at home

Hey did you play basketball with any Dutton’s while at Wheatley, or were you doing the time of Dwight Jones, The Greatest Basketball Player In Wheatley and H-Town

I was born and raised in 5th Ward Texas, attended elementary and middle school in The Nickel. My siblings attended Wheatley and Kashmere HS, I played at The Famous Hester House Rec Center located in 5th Ward Texas. My barbershop and church is located in the heart of 5th Ward Texas. I on the other hand attended Jack Yates HS. I know a little bit about the rivalries between 3rd Ward, 5th Ward & Kashmere Gardens. I attended those heated games back in the day. The die hard alumni’s are no longer attending Kashmere & Wheatley basketball games. We discuss the state of those schools programs weekly at the barbershop and church. Third Ward High is still standing strong.

I totally understand the issues that Wheatley and other inner city schools in H-Town are dealing with, but LC-M should have win this particular game at home against a Wheatley Team that probably won’t even make the playoffs this year.

Was LC-M missing any players, losing at home to a 1 win Wheatley Team isn’t good.

Will fans be allowed to attend this particular game and if so where can you purchase tickets (website) and price. Thanks LCM by +16, this particular Wheatley Team is not good
