IT'S IN THE BONE

Could-a-should-a-would-a! Coaches mentality, mistakes...ect! NONE of that is gone mean poo come Friday. PNG better be ready for a gut check by a bunch of dang football players that are playing to win...Lumberton will not be intimidated by PNG...not gonna wish-cast here because my personal desire is to see Lumberton win...the reality is that it's gonna be a big uphill fight and to me this game could go either way. I hope both teams stay injury free and leave it all on the gridiron.

K-ville wins this easily...if Woodville would have beat Buna...might have been a bit less confident in this statement. Although I do think Woodville is better than last year I think it's a bit to much and to quick to think they beat K-Ville and last week comfirms just that.

you know what's funny is Kirbyville ISD attitude towards folks visiting Kirbyville for sporting events...those being a bit hypocritical in comparison . During Baseball last year we had a Kirbyville administrator act a fool in a confrontation with fans due to his own comments and now their Coaching personel giving a  lesson In the use of colorful language and once again no real response other than what happens in the box stays in the box and get better facilities...upgrade. Nobody is perfect and we all fall short but when you know your in the wrong and especially when your are In a leadership role...an apology and putting a stop to the negative behavior would have been the end of it...in the heat of the moment anyone can slip up. But to just not care and thumb your nose at people making a legitimate request is wrong. 

i hear ya, im talking about certain fans from different fanbases, their sensitiveness leaves alot to be desired and quite frankly its getting damn old if you know what I mean. 

Hope your son recovers from his injury and they both have an awesome high school football career. I have no doubt there were bad calls. I played high school and college ball, and I have coached all the way through the high school varsity ranks. I have seen PLENTY both for and against my teams. I just don't want there to be a footnote as to why the Raiders won regarding calls.  It wasn't home cooking...just poor calls. If you want to add a footnote, say something about Ozens poor coaching, which has way more to do with the loss more than anything. And instead of being demoralized by the crappy calls, hopefully the coaches will teach the boys to make the adversity drive them harder instead like it sounds like you have with your sons. IMO...Ozen is loaded with talent but that talent has to be coached up and developed and BISD has not done the best of job putting the right folks in charge of Ozen Football.  In addition, you also can't continue a revolving door either...Kids have to be coach-able and that starts off the field...plus, coaches have to coach and together they gotta have heart. When Ozen becomes a team with kids that want to be coached and coaches that want to coach...Ozen will play as team and execute. I keep waiting for that year to occur and watch Ozen roll...if your a football guy than you know thats special and fun to watch.

Any body want to address the issue of a Kirbyville Coach being removed from the press box for use profane language...apparently was asked to please stop...then warned...and then escorted from the box and out to the parking lot??? Any body know what or who he was cursing? 

Here we go. Home cooking with the refs y'all picked lol. Lumberton uses the local TASO chapter. BISD makes everyone use the Houston chapter in their games, home or away. Home cooking with the refs Ozen picked? Give me a break. You lost to the better, more physical, more disciplined, better coached team last night. Good luck the rest of the year to the Panthers. I'll be the first to say I hope you win out! ;-)

Kville by 3 TDs. Why? They have Jenny's, Kountze doesn't. 

I know several of these young men from Lumberton and they will not roll over...Ozen better come with that chin strap tight...Lumberton will be locked and loaded for a fight. My football knowledge tells me Ozen has more weapons and maybe on paper should win but thats not what my gut tells me. Lumberton wins a tight one because of heart and gritty football instincts.

Yeah, you're right. I think Coach Waldie has us moving in the right direction though. We bring back alot of starters next year, as well. But hopefully we can get over that hump and get into the playoffs this year. Althought, we won't do it playing like that.
