  1. I know coach has been working one on one with the QB's. There are quite a few playing this year that didn't play last year. The big question mark is who is going to emerge as the varsity QB next year. We'll be fine, I don't know about a DC, but there are some kids in our program that will keep BH competitive and hopefully grabbing a playoff spot. As a fan and parent of a kid in the program, I'm just looking forward to a new direction and excited to see what we can do. The rest will fall into place. Spring football will help the coaches gauge what they have to work with and go from there.
  2. GCM appears to be struggling. That's a huge surprise to me. I had them being one of the stronger teams. With that said, Katy Seven Lakes, Langham Creek, and Channelview are good ball teams.
  3. BH Blake Cappadona, Rhett McCall, and Trevor Kitchen have been the hitters so far. Bryan Taylor (Nicholls St), Asa Thompson, Bryce Bonnin, Tyler Cooley, Jace Seymour, and Koby Emerson have been the top pitchers. BH has been playing good team baseball. Hopefully, it continues.
  4. BH pulled away late in the game to win 9 to 3. BH is playing good ball right now with only loss to a really good Deer Park team.
  5. Deer Park 6 BH 0 BH 9 Galveston Ball 0 BH 11 Pasadena Dobie 6
  6. Coach Denny told the parents at the beginning of the year that the UIL is looking at implementing a pitch count next year at the high school level. I'm all for it, what's your thoughts?
  7. I don't think they do. I'm only repeating what the kids were told. Don't know if it's Ridell, Schutt, etc. Just told Nike deal and 3 helmets
  8. Not sure. Coach has hit the ground running though. They just ordered new weights and other stuff. Not sure on 7 on 7. Our Defensive Coordinator will be here soon. He's coming from Alabama.
  9. I think so. I'm sure coming from the Allen area, he probably has connections. I was told it will be Oregon like stuff.
  10. BH vs Lee on Monday was lopsided in favor of BH. Lee struggled, BH looked good I guess.
  11. BH @ Atascocita 4PM Soph/JV Home vs. Atascocita 4 PM/6 PM
  12. I know the baseball kids are itching to use it. They said a couple more weeks. It has drop down nets for hitting. Pretty cool. I was also told on the Nike deal that varsity will get 3 helmets. One for practice, one for away, and one for home. Times are changing for sure. Back in the day, you hoped the one given fit right. Lol It's 80 yards of field.
  13. You can catch a glimpse of the new indoor facility and interview. [Hidden Content]
  14. $12 million is what the indoor facility cost. We also have a new scoreboard and sound system being bought. Basketball just bought a new scoreboard and rumor is Nike is about to be part of BH. Getting rid of the ugly uniforms. Lol
  15. H-F has been a circus for a while. They can't keep coaches in any sport, the pay is lower then most areas and I assume not much backing by administration. Don't know last part for sure, but it's been a revolving door there amongst coaches in all sports for a while. It's pretty much a training ground for new coaches.
  16. Scrimmage @ BH Varsity Baytown Lee @ BH 4;30 PM Sophmore and JV @ Lee 4 PM/ 6 PM
  17. That's why I said there was a log jam because BH has some really solid upper classmen. BH usually has a quality program from Freshmen to Seniors, so it's difficult to be on varsity and contribute as a freshman.
  18. There's a log jam at BH, but the Freshman group is solid. BH will be really strong in the next couple of years.
  19. Next year will be the first year of the two year realignment. Everything this year will be the same as last year.
  20. Reclassification doesn't effect this season. It will be for next year.
