Rumor is BH got their guy. Next week they will announce it.

I will say this, BH has over achieved last couple of years. If you look at certain positions and the amount of injuries we’ve had to key players, I think Abseck did a great job. I know there were grumbling about the work hours for staff, but I would curious to see Abseck’s record at BH compared to the others. As far as the other stuff, rumors are rumors, and last I checked BH is still a great school district, and in great financial shape.

Which did you like best? Between the leg dunk or windmill dunk?

Hats off to 11 5A, I was one that was on 12 5A bandwagon. Over estimated AMC and CS. Great job, atleast one from 11 5A will be in a semi final game.

If they can stay steady, BH will make some noise. They have tendency to wear down by end of the year. Great coach, and this might be the most complete team BH has had since being 5A. Hopefully, the Eagles can keep it going.

After that work you put in, we don’t care. BH made the playoffs before any Baytown kids came around in all sports. Anyways, think this thread has went long enough off course.

I can guarantee that if what you’re saying about Baytown kids coming here for sports is true, they aren’t moving into Riceland. Go look at the price of those homes.

This about how I thought it would go. LP is too much.

People forget since G Ball game, BH been rolling with inexperienced Soph QB with zero varsity starts until a couple weeks ago, along with a lot of inexperienced skill players. The defensive front is salty and have been solid, the defensive backfield hurts us a bit, but this team has exceeded probably true fan’s expectations this year. The O-line is solid as they come, and a stable of serviceable running backs. No matter what happens tonight, BH has had a solid year thus far. Go Eagles!

LP has had BH number. Coaching will keep it close, but I see LP pulling away in second half. I’m starting to think LP might be Region 3 favorite since they’re 100% healthy with that running game.

Really liked the RB that BH used the end of the game. He was hitting the holes faster than the varsity kids. If he continues to hit the holes like that, you’ll be seeing him a lot next season
