BH has a lot from Louisiana. In my neighborhood, I have a bunch of Louisiana, Deer Park, San Antonio, Beaumont, Channelview, a couple from North Shore, several original BH, but nobody from Baytown.

Lufkin is a place that playing calling in certain critical situations won’t hurt as bad because of the athletes and speed of the skill players can make up yardage. BH on the other hand couldn’t. At Lufkin, you just need to put the pieces together, be a good manager of the game, and make sure everyone keeps emotions in check. Let the players show the athleticism that they possess. Lufkin will be fine.

I agree Abseck will do good at Lufkin, his OC won’t last long unless Abseck calls the plays. That’s what I’m talking about. Good luck to them.

Go look at past years playoff games on play calling and even regular season. I think if you ask most BH fans, they would agree it was questionable at best. My opinion of course which means little. I was told Abseck brought him with him.

They don’t have depth, but their starting 5 aren’t terrible and they can shoot. They just get wore down in 4Q by the front runners of the district.

Ron Antoine is a great guy. Played HS ball with him. All around good dude and has coached at college level for a good while. Hope he gets a chance.

Sterling is a decent team. This district is solid this year.

Mine was jacked up due to an email I used that was longer in use after crash. There was an issue, I was admin before crash and then got lost in shuffle. That’s because I was Scalp’em until the computer site crashed. I know you’ve been on here a while, but I was here when I lived in Port Neches. Do research before trying to call someone out. I don’t think anyone cares what the race of the coach is as long as their good. You’re either an ex BH coach or Abseck. Lol. I’ve never seen a non school poster be so invested in another school’s affairs like you’ve been and I’ve been on here since like 2006 or whenever it started.

Dude, why do you care so much? BH will be fine. Don’t think they move up to 6A until 2028. A lot can happen between now and then. There’s nothing we can do besides stay positive and look forward to a new challenge. Numbers will dictate where we end. The rest is just hot air. Coaching replacement should be named soon.
