    Actually Central's only lead was 12-8 end of the 1st and they never lead again so how they were up 12 is a mystery. I will tell you they looked out of sync with a lot of one on one basketball. Looked to me that a point was trying to be made by certain players to prove they are the "man". The reserves didnt give them much outside of two 3's by #21 ... Atwood was clearly tired which is why he didnt have a good game having to rebound,score,assist,and d-up takes alot of out of you with no rest.

    Your comparison of the score of these 3 22-5A schools brings up some interesting conversation. Just a couple of days ago, it was boldly stated on this board that Nederland has 'no chance' of beating Ozen or Central. Did anyone see how BS DOMINATED a very athletic Longview team by 20! Could easily have been worse. That game was played without 2 starters and a key reserve for BS. 

    I would LOVE to hear the rationale behind the statements that were made earlier this week. 

     

    Just gonna throw this date out there for those who have short term memory issues when it comes to Ned not having a chance against Ozen/Central:

    i think ppl who don't really know sports just like to talk. Ppl still havent learned it doesn't matter what so callled classification you are or wherever you are from if you can play that particular sport well and do it as a team you have a chance to beat anybody. Never underestimate your opponent because you feel like your 6a and their 2a. But is their overall basketball game a 2a . Big Sandy would give alot of teams problems because just like in every sport its about matchups and which ones will be exploited. A la Golden St. , Boise St ,or Monmouth. Stop putting labels on these teams and watch them play thats the only thing that matters at the end of the day. CAN YOU PLAY...PERIOD...

    They also said Jesus couldnt walk on water... So stop with the they cant be beaten...they only beat Sam Houston by 8 game was acrually closer til the end. Dekaney played them tough both times, as well as Lancaster. Yates didnt play their starters after the 1st qtr. and all Cy Lakes has is Fox and i wont mention KF their best players went to SATCH & the oher to FallBrook. If you went to the game West Brook actually played well the 1st qtr and they gave Atascocita problems with the zone all they wanted to do was jack up 3's thats why it was tied. But thent he subbing for WB and the defensive game plan changed why idk but it was stupid tthey went to a box &1 , then to a triangle & 2... And thats all she wrote ...
