I hate when ppl come for kids. This isn’t your first time making snide remarks Soulja your not around these kids kids enough to even try and make an assumption about if he is good enough . What college coaches have you spoken with ,how many in your contacts I’m guessing ZERO.im no expert either but I do talk to coaches a lot of them & have a bunch in my contacts . If you knew anything about the game it’s always about upside. Quentin Grimes was not even close to where he is now as a fresh or soph. But it’s called development and that’s something you know nothing about obviously. In his class he has to be top 50 in the state of Texas and based on POTENTIAL he could get to 6’6 -6’8 wing type which would put his recruitment on a whole other level. Stop comparing summer ball to Hs ball they are like strawberries and grapes. Summer ball is about what you will play on the next level Hs ball is about what your teams needs you to in ordee to win . STAY IN YO LANE !!!!!

(Also Silsbee hasn't lost to a 5A team and best about five 6A teams. All loses were to 6A.) Silsbee has 4 D1 players (3 basketball & 1 football& possibly more to come )there are not too many schools in the state with that type of talent on it. Dotson ,Jones,Pleasant are the starters missing but no excuses next man up . I think Silsbee has to learn they will get everyone’s best shot regardless if the fans think a team isn’t worthy of being on the floor with them. I’ve been around the game a long time at the end of the day if you come compete you can throw out the names and all that extra bs it’s about executing a game plan and the will to win. Silsbee are the champions to beat them you gotta knock them out . That’s how the saying goes . All respect to them just in turn respect your opponents as well because ANYBODY can be beaten.

We’re you at the game? how could WB ppl complain when the foul count was in there favor pretty much. I believe WB had a 10 point lead to open the 4th ,subbing cost them that game and they couldn’t not make any jump because they we’re tired. They thought they had the game won and got cocky. Only one ref was making questionable calls but the majority of the went in WB favor. Like i said If you only have 3 good ones out of 15-20 something is wrong.

ok if you guys don’t think the officiating was horrible you might need a pair of glasses. It wasn’t about calls for the home team it was about all the teams . It was teribble and i don’t care what you say calls can have a dramatic effect on the game.

I agree and it really should be all SETX teams in the YMBL because honestly the Nederland Tournament wasn’t great in terms of team draw, Hardin Jefferson,Silsbee should all come back to make it even more competitive.

The format was good but this tournament was marred by poor officiating,they need to get officials from somewhere else if you only have 3 good officals in the chapter there lies the problem. I believe next year RcsSports will be involved bringing more quality teams & I’m sure those coaches don’t want to deal these officals in SETX.

Oh I agree those teams are very good but the excise can’t be we played them to get better competition is every where at every level 1a-6a and if you don’t come to play you will be beaten imo... another team ppl are sleeping on is Shadow Creek I think they have a chance at winning that district ...

Cmon TxHoops they didn’t go into the game hoping not to win they wanted to win as well ,lets not start with the participation trophy stuff lol...Playing one way against everyone won’t work they will have to make adjustments at some point or ppl will figure you out.

Central is tougher than what some of these experts think ....they have some good players over there ...congrats to Silsbee on the win ,way to play hard all night Central...
