There are alot of unhappy parents right now. This team isn't even compettive any more. Lost alot of kids to grades, had to combine teams, then alot of B teamers that were no longer getting playing time walked. Lost a kid who is talented enough to possibly start at QB as a sophmore cause he's tired of losing, but to be fair he's a baseball player first, I don't know if his heart was ever truly in it. But they're going to lose more kids if things don't change, I'm already hearing it from kids and parents. This year is about development and frankly I don't see it. There is plenty of talent in this class but it's not being utilized properly. They're not 38 - 0 bad. I'm not talking win's and losses here either, I'm just talking about competing. And before someone says I just sound like a disgruntled parent who's son doesn't get enough playing time, not the case. My boy starts both ways and probably needs to get more rest. I'm happy with is play. I'm just concerned about the future of this program.

I hear you.  I saw some nice looking talent on the field for GCM. Our freshman group is pretty good but should not beat yall by 38. I don't know what the problem is but I hope yall get it figured out. The kids deserve better.

8A BH North took a commanding lead of 6-0 against Crosby...only to lose 38-6.  Crosby's Offense played well and we had too many fumbles again.

8A BH South beat Horace Mann 36-13

Only concern with a wet, muddy field is we have put the ball on the ground a few times this year. This game may come down to who wins the turnover battle.

Add up RSS since '92 and GCM since '08 and I've been to more homecoming games on the road than I can count. 
GCM has some weapons on offense.  Some times we just forget to load em up.

Don't count out GCM yet, they let that Vidor game slip away. It's a long shot, but they do have the horses to go 3 and 0 to wrap up the regular season. It starts with a must win game against a much improved Lumberton, that should be a battle with the fourth spot on the line. GCM was able to beat big NED last year in Nederland, something the Injuns haven't done in a while. This year the Dawg's have to come to the Dirty Bay. And lastly Ozen, a game the Patriots should have won last year. Will they get their revenge at the Butch?  Unfortunately I'm working nights this week so I won't be able to partake of Lumberton's hospitality on Thursday for my sons Freshman game or friday for the must win Varsity game. I'll be coming here for updates.... I mean working hard.

Gentry just won 25-0 due to bad refs....okay, obviously joking.  Gentry's Running Backs broke a few long ones and looked good overall.  Their QB played smart.

We didnt miss it last year, the infamous "Beaumont Chapter" of referees had to make their presence known to be part of the outcome, big damper on what was almost 40 unanswered pts, and one of the biggest 2nd half comebacks ive ever seen on ANY level. Vidor struggles with speed offenses, and in the end will not have enough to take this one.

It was 7 - 6 at the half, in fact GCM should have been up but fumbled the ball inside PNG's 5. Second half was more fumbles for GCM. One inside our own 10 which turned into an easy TD for the Indians. Too be fair PNG had some turn overs early on too but they weren't in such critical territory. Also they corrected that problem in the second half. Good game Indians. Ya'll have some talent to look forward to in the future.

Thanks KJ dad, it's been difficult for my family. Jojo has taken this sudden lost very hard. I'm so proud of my son for showing that he is ready to step into man hood. Thanks again to this forum and all the dads tonight for wrapping your arms around my family

GCM had 21 points at the half last week against Central's vaulted defense. Could of had another 21 after the half, but decided to turn the ball over instead.
