That dam’n Todd Dodge screwed up on this one. Lol! Them BF hater’s better hope Memorial is just really good! Wasn’t even halftime and Morgan started putting backups in.

This is huge news. After he was scratched Sunday the UT team showed up flat. Before that injury they had 3 studs that could win a lot of games. I’m sure someone will step up but its a very big blow to UT!

I believe his comments say everything you need to know. Like I said before I’m sure he can help find some good coach’s. May be a good $20,000 spent. I just don’t understand why they didn’t get the guy they wanted from the get go. They let social media and angry people get in the way. They had a guy they wanted and should have done whatever it took to get him if they wanted him that bad. People were pissed when they let Burnett go and got BF. BF got here and brought excitement back and won pretty often. People eventually will get over BF being let go. I’m sure every board member and the Supt wants whats best for PNG. And I dam’n sure don’t think any of them would do anything to hurt PNG. People are on social media bad mouthing these people and wanting them booted out. Everyone don’t know the reason’s BF was let go. It seem’s like for the last several years I was hearing he was gone and it didn’t happen. I heard at the end of last season he was gone and he would be replaced and then seen the other guy was hired somewhere else. And the firing never took place. 
 Hell I was upset when they didn’t hire Kyle Green and hired Coach Carter as the baseball coach. All Coach Carter did was win a State Championship and is a top notch guy. So I’m sure they will find the right guy again. Hiring TD as a  consultant will certainly help them find the right guy.

Someone trying to cover their ass because they couldn’t get who they wanted. One of the names people have mentioned is not an applicant anymore! Blame social media for that! If I had a head coaching job somewhere I wouldn’t want my name thrown around like a couple have. So what happens if they apply and dont get it? I don’t think the names should be released especially if that coach is a head coach somewhere else. All that could do is cause issues with his current job. Personally if I was getting rid of BF I’d have had my candidate locked up and they didn’t and now they are scrambling so they won’t be blamed for the new hire. The PNG faithful can just blame Todd Dodge. And this article is not exactly as it appears. You will not see TD at PNG in person. Like others have said this is just a PR move. TD has been in Dallas and Austin and is going to come back here after retiring. Yeah right! I’m sure he can refer some good guys.

  No team would take Zeke with that contract! They overpaid him and did the same with Dak. They could have let Dak hit the market and no team would have given him 40 million a season. If you have access to game pass then you would see game after game where we have wide open guys for 1st downs and he goes to the wrong person. Then people blame the coach’s. Dak is inaccurate and can’t read a defense good enough. He plays well against bad teams. When we play average to good teams Dak puts us behind early. Then in the 2nd half when were down by multiple TD’s he gets on a roll. The people who know football knows why this happens. These teams are going into a prevent defense trying not to give up the big play. Dak holds onto the ball way too long. And why does this happen? Because he sees things way too late. So both Dak and Zeke got paid and their play has went down. Zeke dont have the burst he once had. I did notice on game pass that our offensive line was missing several blocks on run plays. And Shultz is terrible at blocking! And if we cant run the ball don’t expect Dak to carry us in the playoffs. He does good when the run game is going good and he can hit passes off of play action. The defense was missing a key guy yesterday and Wilson missed a few plays that Keanu would have made. They still played good enough for us to beat a very banged up Arizona team. No way should Arozona beat us with all of the players they were missing. It looks like we will get them again in 2 weeks.

No doubt about Gholke! We will never see a defensive back hit like that in high school again. You will get kicked out of the game for hitting people like he did. He for sure was my favorite defensive player to watch. His attitude after he hit you was the best! When he would lay em out he would just stare em down. One bad dude!

I dont think this is personal agendas of the board. Outside people have no idea what led to this. So until people know the truth. No one should be bad mouthing the board. Sometimes coach’s get comfortable and won’t listen when their bosses tell them things that need to change. They get cocky and tell them this is how it will be. If your boss calls you in and tells you something that needs to change. You will say ok and try to do what they tell you to do. Were forgetting he was also the AD. So maybe this in not all about football.

And that is wrong! Mark that down! And it wont be Cary. They wouldn’t just let BF go if they didnt have one person in mind. I will wait and let the process go through the motions. But it could be a very good hire. But matching the winning that BF has done will be tough. I’m sure you will start seeing the real good athletes play both ways. Keep in mind these board members bleed purple and white like most other PNG fans. And they have tough decisions to make very often. Its another tough job but someone has to do it.

BU sped the game up and dominated. BU emptied the bench and SOC left their starters in until it was over. It was like the SOC coach was looking for a moral victory. 

They just lost to HJ by 20. They beat BC and now they are real? Someone better start watching some more basketball. I hope they become real but they are not there yet. Should be a tough district and they will need to be real!

When was this? After the game a teammate had him on his shoulders to shake hands. I hope your right but after the game he didnt look to good. He was taped a couple of times during the game. He is a tough kid though. I thought when he left the game we was done. Crippen kept dropping dimes though. I thought a few were over the wrs heads but they ran right under it. I believe #16 Landry caused the fumble.  A fun game to watch for sure!

Faircloth won't be bullied into doing what school board member's want him to do! I was told that some kid's of the school board are riding the pine and don't want him back. I believe his contract is up after this season. The Indian's have been pretty successful since he got here. A lot of people hate that every year the defense is terrible. I'd rather watch an entertaining offense versus a great defense and no offense. That's about what we were getting after Long left. Faircloth in my eyes has been a pretty damn good coach. So they should change QB's after the backup QB got into the game and scored against the Arkansas backups? I'm assuming you didn't watch the whole game. Texas was severely beaten upfront on both sides of the ball. There line play is nowhere near ready to compete in the SEC. Good thing they have until 2025 to get ready. UT is who we thought they were! Just because they are Texas they are always overrated. Just like the Dallas Cowboys! And I'm a fan of both. Yes I've been sick for awhile!

Man come on, you sound like a kid. Trying to prove your right on something that had zero impact on the game. Silsbee was up 34-13 after that. A lot more happened after that is what really impacted the game. No one else is supporting you on this so why beat a dead horse? Silsbee was playing decent and collapsed. Should be a learning moment for a young team.

I disagree about Nederland this year compared to last year. I don't see this team anywhere close to last year. They had a bigger team last year that could rebound and play tough inside. This year they are small and no one that can take over a game. Years past they have had a guard that can get to the basket and get shots for himself and others. Gibson is just an outside shooter that don't create for others. Yes if he is hitting his shot they will do ok but he plays very timid when the pressure is on him. I've seen several games where he don't score or only has a bucket at the half. When you have a team that don't have much scoring you need more out of the 2 that can score. I know English likes this team but I completely disagree that this team is anywhere near last years team. Last year Hefner would get double and triple teamed leaving guys wide open to shoot. You don't have that this year. Teams know if they take Tyler away they don't have any other confident shooters.  After that butt kicking Tuesday their confidence was shaken. I expect English to get them together soon and turn this around. Maybe a 4th place finish in district this year.

BU is very athletic that can cover a lot of court. That half court trap was deadly along with the full court press. And to think how young they are is crazy! They may win State 2 out of the next 3 years. It's going to take a special team to beat them. And if they are hitting their outside shot, nobody will beat them. Last night they were not hitting the outside shot and could have beat Nederland by 60. Nederland's guards were very timid and way over matched! Any team that is athletic that can apply full court pressure will give Nederland problems. But no team will be as athletic as BU along with the length. These kid's will be studs by the time they are Seniors. That freshman looks like a Senior now. I was very impressed by BU and can't wait to see them play someone to see how good they really are.
