Here we go with the tick tock. Talked to a couple players today and they must not have read this thread because they are not scared. Heck, I bet the whole team shows up Friday night to play. Still think crosby gets all they want friday night. Tick tock. 

I am impressed with where crosby is right now, but the center of the football universe is a bit of a stretch. Keep popping those gums. You may win, but you will.know we have been there. I think this game will be closer than most people think. 

It is amazing how one fan is still trying to sell the number 1 team in the state. Crosby probably gonna give several beat downs this year, only time will tell. I know the dogs are not scared and it's less than a week away. I will judge crosby after we play and I see em up close. If I were a betting man, I would bet that crosby isn't the best team we have played on week zero before

It's harder to play that style against athletes. I know the coach is important, but athletes make a coach look good. I saw the nederland crosby game, and crosby was loade . They should be loaded again this year too. Nederland would be lucky to have Washington back, but there has only been one in nederland ever. It's not like super athletes are everywhere in nederland. That being said, when nederland has that kind of talent, Neumann will beat most people. Comparing crosby athletes and nederland athletes is apples to oranges. That being said, I bet the number 1 team in the state gets all they want in the first game

It sure is funny how some crosby posters keep jabbering all the time. Sure crosby was better than others expected in football. Most people had to eat crow for them. He told his players, it should probably not be discussed until he actually resigns his position. He does not have to resign and take a refinery job. That is his choice and to my knowledge he hasn't resigned. As for whon is gonna replace him, no telling who Neumann hires. Spell makes sense, but until someone is announced, I wouldnt place a bet. I see your point finest. I know you can also make a point about using what you say for motivation. It just seems very negative towards the kid. I would have rather seay win it but I'm also a dog. I guess you have a problem with the whole award, not this kid. Good point

Any person that watched football in southeast Texas knew about theses our kids. When someone says he wasn't best, and award is bogus it sounds like dogging a kid to me. I saw him play a couple times and he was outstanding. If stats were turned in, then that's on the coach.

Everyone had their favorite player that they wanted to win. They were all deserving or they wouldn't have been nominated. There were several that didn't get nominated that could have easily been in the mix. These are kids still. They play a game they love because they love it. Then on a message board, they get dogged or put down. Sure it may motivate some, but damn grown ass men talkin trash bout some kids. It seems like that is what this is turning into.

Congrats to both winners. They were very deserving. If the two winners read this thread, don't let stupid comments by grown men get you down. Some people can't keep their mouth shut

I watched Dayton play before stewert got there and then as he built that program. He was one of a kind. It will be hard to replace any coach like him. They may have the talent, but not the proper direction. I know when he was there, they would beat you up on the field. I was super impressed with what he did. With Neumann getting older, I'm afraid nederland may fall into that category if they hire the wrong person for the job. Just a look from afar

Last time Silsbee was the best and came to nederland tourney, they got beat by co. Hard to tell who will win dealing with 14 yr olds

Yes we felt the same way. It sucked. Always does to lose to rival. But it feels way better now. At least on our side

Port neches seems to have short term memory loss. May turn into the same ol song and dance. PNG is great blah blah blah. Gonna finally beat nederland. We beat clear lake and they beat yall. Then BAM. We win again. They go into hiding until chest swells again. Only time will tell.

Gcm and nederand game a lil different than nederland png game. I somehow knew that you would say that because central fan said the same thing. I don't think getting beat by gcm stung near as bad as yall losing to us. You can say what you want but there was a shift in png attitude when we beat central. And until yall are up on the scoreboard as the final second ticks off the clock, then we own yall in recent years. Good luck next year

As long as it's Neumann vs fairclothe then I will take nederland. All the purple faithful thought there was no way png could lose last year. I read all the cocky comments on here and it was nice to watch the game. Same result, different year. Keep talking about how nederland will be and how good png will be. It will make it better at 6-0.

You take krautz out of the picture and we may not make playoffs. That can be said about every team. But we always lose kids that mean a lot. Lost the bigs on the def line and everyone said it was over. Fact is we lose kids and replace em and still win. No one knew sage was gonna be dist mvp at qb this year. Who knows what's gonna happen next year. This was the year everyone counted us out. Keep counting
