No, just work shift work and can't live on this board so I am always a couple of days behind on the good posts. And as far as "bandwagon" is concerned check my previous posts. I said Lumberton would be Dayton and I even called the Central game. SO NO I am not from Lumberton nor am I riding any bandwagon. Just a supporter of a good football team. You should really check into things before you make smart a** comments.

I imagine that the L-Train supporters are getting their "crow cooking" instructions from everyone talking crap on this board right now. Because the people running their mouths over ONE Lumberton loss are the same people who have been eating their own crow week after week as Lumberton won games that speculators said they could not. I agree with you partially. . .most skeptics are never satisfied. They will just continue to hate until l-town finally loses and then the "I told you so's" will begin.

No the point is that there was a 23 page thread a week before the game talking about how bad l-town was gonna get beat by Dayton, and now that you lost you want to make excuses. How very typical!! A team runs their mouth a little, then backs it up and everyone hates on them. Why not just give them credit and leave it alone.

Yeah we have half the town there for the game and all that other crap, but they are just there to see the HC queen candidates. After half time they all leave.

Buna and Woodville have the worst because your like 5 miles away from the field. One of the coaches had to drive to the field to check the clock at halftime because we couldn't see it from that far away.

I normally wouldn't do this. . .especially for Splendora, but this is the most ridiculous post I have ever seen. I will agree that OF and HF are pretty weak. But when you start thinking that Woodville and Diboll are good competition you have completely fallen off the wagon. I don't really care what their pre-district schedule is. Some teams schedule difficult games that aren't gimmes so that they can be better prepared for district. So unless you have driven over to see one of these two teams play. . .which I doubt you have since you never leave your own "perfect" golden triangle world, keep your ignorant opinions to yourself.

Coach Stewart in Liberty last year. . ."All this time I have been trying to get you guys new shoes when I should've been shopping for glass stomachs. That way you could see with your head up your A$$!" Coach at a JH game, but I don't remember for who. . .the parents were giving him a pretty hard time about his play calls and who he had in. . .he turns and says "Sir I didn't breed 'em, I just gotta coach 'em"

I agree Dayton has the better team, but momentum can definitely play a factor. Especially in high school football. Having said that I still take Dayton by 14, but hope its a great game.

So that would explain why I was at 3 golf tournaments last year and Vela wasn't at any of them. There is a difference between title and workhorse.

You guys need to chill out. You don't have to defend the coaches and their careers I believe their record will tell the true story. That is , however unfortunate it may be, the way a coaches work is judged. And for all of your cleveland supporters, if you are so certain of the tribe and their ability then put your money where ya mouth is. I agree in supporting coaches, but I just think the staff is gonna have a rough time this year. Most everybody had predicted Lumberton to win, but then you sing the praises of the Indians. So decide what your opinion is a stick with it. And by the way this is a discussion board, all about trashin the rivals in good fun. (aka TAKE IT LIGHTLY) Hope everybody's games go well this week.

Yeah I have a good friend who played there 7 years ago. He came from Louisiana and had the Barbers Hill coaches at one of his games checking him out they talked to him afterwards and everything. Then 3 weeks later his dad got a transfer to "The Hill" and they had to up and move.
