Nah we’re good. We slept walked most of the game last year and still beat y’all. Y’all aren’t as good this year either. We gave up 21 to FB Marshall and only would’ve given up 7 to Lee had we not turned it over twice inside our own 35 yard line. We’re out crying about anything, I guess you didn’t hear what Coach P said about us missing guys and playing through it.
 
Crosby wears teams down. If you think all you have to do is stop us in the first quarter then this is probably what’s going to happen to y’all in the 4th quarter: 
 

I put that just to get under your skin but the truth is Crosby has loss to CE king that just beat up on Pearland, FB Marshall who was #1 in the area for 5a D2 ball, and played down against Lee and still won by 20. While BH loss to Magnolia West (the only decent team they have played), beat Montgomery who just loss to Dayton and we all know how bad they are, and beat Sterling who loss to Brazoswood who put up 77 on them and we all know how bad Brazoswood is. Don't let beating up on nobody's get your head to big. Think you been listening to the "I'm so glad I go to Barbers Hill" brainwash song. Oh and make sure all that money the district has that the scoreboard is working fully this time. Don't need it to go out again and the time magically speeds up to try and finish the game quick. 

Nah, we got our butt beat by Liberty Hill and C.E. King. Not having starters with King wouldn't have made the difference but would have likely made it closer. 
But you need Crosby to be lucky to justify why BH is so inconsistent. Maybe one day yall will learn how to win the tough ones and what it takes to go deep not just have one good game in the playoffs. 

The difference between Crosby and BH is that we can sleepwalk through a contest and still win by 20 like we did Friday night. Y’all can’t as evident by your .500 record last year. Y’all won’t be able to run the ball on us and outside of the freshman y’all don’t have any plus receivers with Dixon pretty much factorless. 
 
BH doesn’t have a Duncan like Lee did that can escape the pressure Crosby is going to bring. The routes BH throws to sink and dunk down the field are very conducive to interceptions from Crosby’s ball-hawking secondary. I think the two BH running backs are soft and won’t want to run it against Crosby all night. BH was very good when they played well last year because of their offensive line, they’re not at that level up front this year. 
 
On the defensive side of things, BH tackled very poorly in space against Montgomery. When their QB and RB had 1v1 situations on the edges they usually best the BH defenders for chunk plays. Myles is a BH killer when he pulls it down and Crosby’s starting RB ran for 184 yards on Lee. It hasn’t necessarily shown but I think the 8 starters y’all lost on defense are going to hurt a lot more than the 7 starters y’all lost on offense and Crosby is going to be the first team to espouse that. 
 
*On a side note FB Marshall bounced back with a 47-0 win over 6A Alief Taylor

We’ve kicked everybody’s ass he cheers for. He’s just reaching for straws at this point. Noticed he was quick to jump on here after the King game but didn’t see squat from him after the FB Marshall game? Crosby wins by “only 20” and he’s showed up all of a sudden again. @panamamyers  can’t tell you what the Crosby vs BH score will be but he’ll be on here during and after the game trying to convince everybody that he had it figured out long before kickoff. Dude is worse than @Separation Scientist

A formidable 5A team and one that looks like a 3A team are fairly evenly matched! I’m trying to understand, I really am.

Getting beat by 20 doesn’t = evenly matched. That still a buttwhooping anyway you slice it.

Lol, but Myles dropping the ball on a wide open screen for a turnover and then scoring on 4th and 11 or Wright muffing a punt and them scoring off T/O wasn’t what kept them in it? GTHOH dude. Lee was lucky to keep it within 20. This is a 55-14 game 8/10 nights. I’m sitting here talking to players as they leave the locker room. Every single one knows it was a sub-par team performance tonight

I think there's a good chance Lancaster gets Longview this year. I watched both of LV's games with McKinney Boyd and Marshall and Lancaster looks better on the hoof and also faster. LV's QB still forces it to Hale and I think they're running game with Tatum is containable. They're probably smaller than FB Marshall on the defensive line and while they're dbs are highly rated it seems like there's still a good amount of space for receivers to make plays in the secondary if there's a competent QB that can get it to them.  On the flip side though, their collection of talent is so great that it really doesn't matter what they have going on right now. 

They actually picked Illes to win that.

Anyway.........How can Png keep this a close game up to the 4th qtr to have a chance at the upset? I actually think this might be a close one.

We’ll see what PNG looks like this week against another team who can execute plays at the varsity level? Lots of mistakes on offense and lots of guys out of position on defense during the PAM game. It was very impressive what PNG was able to do to BU’s personnel but I think PNG needs to get through this week before you can really start to estimate a trajectory for them. BU is a 5A level HISD football team and that may be doing a disservice to Houston Madison. PNG dispatched them exactly how they should’ve if they’re going to be a good team this year. 
 
During the summer I said I would be interested to see if PNG offense looked more like Katy’s or SLC’s? I said one place I thought PNG had been well above average recently was the offensive line and that a Katy style offense might highlight that. Well not only does it look like Katy, they’re running the patented zone play from under center that they’ll eventually throw the play-action off of. It’s also a staple play for Carthage. I eventually expect them to start running the crack-toss and the toss counter which are the other staple plays of Katy and Paetow. 
 
One thing I saw in both games is that PNG still needs to get better at tackling in space and sticking with guys in the secondary. They probably have the personnel to make a real run at a district championship though. #19 for PNG is a baller but Prosperie is still PNG’s best offensive weapon. For whatever reason he kind of seems like an afterthought in PNG’s new offense. That being said, that’s a hard point to argue when you put up 49. Again though, you want to see them do it against a competent team. 

Lancaster's defense looks amazing. SOC has 2 QB's and we all know the old saying about if you have 2QB's. 

Just make sure you tell Chevalier he’s going to have to earn that defensive MVP award Dave Campbell’s picked him to win before the season started. You know those Crosby boys coming downhill:
