  1. Lol, half second too soon? The nose of the ball is already across the goal line in the pic I posted. Conversion is good right there, knee can land wherever he pleases. You can zoom in see the shadow of the ball. Idk why y’all continue to use the shot from the back of the end zone by the goalpost?
  2. BH is very capable of coming in a BH’ing the game up considering they’ve collapsed in 40% of their games this year. I’ve watched a couple PNG games this year though and they just aren’t very good right now. I know they got 42 on Dayton but this is one of the weaker PNG offenses I’ve seen. Again, as has been demonstrated multiple times the past couple of years BH isn’t very good at closing teams out but if they can keep that same energy from last week I don’t think PNG can stay within 14+ points of the Eagles. In a general sense I think BH is a little better than last year and PNG is a little worse which is the main reason I think BH wins comfortably.
  3. Considering our schedule, that was the first game Crosby had given up over 28 offensive points. I wouldn’t take me game like that as gospel. Otherwise I would be on here talking about how Santa Fe held Nederland to less than y’all did.
  4. For our “bad call” BH brethren from last week. Wasn’t even questionable. Try not to collapse anymore this year and y’all might get another chance the first week of December after we clean out our side of the bracket.
  5. That's an odd statement considering PNG hasn't shown anything all year. The defensive statement is even more odd considering PNG just gave up 35 to Dayton who scored 0 on Crosby's defensive starters the week before. Plus, you can look back at the last decade under BF and see that he really can't do anything with PNG's personnel unless he has RJ to cover up the warts so IDK about "anything" really being possible?
  6. Lol, I know you don’t think PAM was their measuring stick? In all actuality the team that has won or tied for the DC six of the last eight years IS the measuring stick in a normal year. What else would they use before the playoffs? I know that L was painful but don’t worry, we’ll probably in the same district soon and will be handing y’all a lot more of them. Lol, y’all are just Beaumont Ozen with better athletes. Congrats to PAM on a great 9-2 year though. As far as the statement about them being able to reach the 3rd or 4th round, I agree and I actually have insight because I watched us beat most of the teams it will take to get there this year.
  7. To be fair you can do a lot on 43 acres in Barrett Station. Nothing like drinking cold beer and sighting in the AR during the kid’s birthday party.
  8. True, but the combined scores in their last four games are 168-10 meaning they've dispatched lesser competition the way you would expect from a good team. Clear Brook has better personnel than what they'll see from most of our district and TC was able to squeak by them. I know PNG likes tradition, TC has the most recent state championship tradition with their titles in 1997 and 1999.
  9. Couldn't have been, Nederland wasn't ranked #7 at the midway point in the season last year.
  10. Yep, we could but hopefully Kingwood Park and Santa Fe take it easy on us.
  11. The 4th place team in our district has been getting in at 4-3 in recent years. They better win this on and I’ll give them KP in the season finale. That would leave them needed to go 2-1 against a combination of Nederland, TC and BH. Losing to PNG this week means that’s not probable but it’s more than doable. Good luck, last couple years Dayton has already been out of it by now.
  12. Everybody is always talking about how they want to play in a tough district so that they’re battle tested for the playoffs . . . Until they’re actually in one. Now you have a team ranked 7th in the state at the midway point in the season in danger of finishing in 4th place with a couple losses, which probably includes a first round exit against FBM, or possibly missing the playoffs all together. Nederland is probably for sure in in at least the three spot but these are possibilities. Kind of have to tip the cap to the district this year. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Dayton ruin someone’s year.
  13. Nah, we’ll leave y’all alone. Y’all went borderline Vidor on us though. We’ve lost plenty heartbreakers so I know it sucks. One thing I would point out to the BH faithful that some of us other fan bases have figured out though; if y’all think you’re good then act like you’re good. Meaning when you lose games it’s because YOU lost, not I because the other teams should have. When Crosby started to get good again I had about a 4/5 year struggle with this until I saw us lose to Manor in 2012 with the Twins. Then I had an epiphany and the collapse the next year against Elgin was easier to understand. I’m hoping we get that regional final matchup at Stallworth we never got with Dayton. All y’all have to do is play like y’all did Friday night for the rest of the season.
  14. I can verify that two BH fans in my department did not show up for work today. They may or may not have been scheduled off days but I’m rolling with the optics on this one. First person in the office this morning was a Baytown Sterling fan explaining to me why we should’ve lost. Instead of engaging I took the low road and said, “Man, it must suck to have to watch us while your team plays.” I left it at that though, vender had dropped off ALL the breakfast tacos in his office.
  15. Lol, I bet we win by more than 14 points and won't have to put the starters back in to finish them off. This should be a nice prep game for TC who comes to town in two weeks.
  16. It doesn't matter if you were running it at that particular time, it was early enough in the game that Crosby still had to play the pass. When BH had to run it to seal the game, which they could've done on two different occasions, they couldn't and lost because of it. BH knew Crosby was throwing on basically every play at the end of the game and Kirkwood still abused BH's entire secondary on our last three drives. One team won because of it and one team is one here talking about their offensive stat lines after giving up 53 in a loss on their home field.
  17. BH got the ball twice in the third and scored 13 points, fumbled and punted on their drives in the 4th quarter. Crosby still had to play the pass earlier in the half and that allowed BH some success in the run game in the third quarter, they didn't have much success running it in the 4th when Crosby knew they were trying to run the clock though. I'm not advocating you run the ball, I'm advocating you score and put the game away. I can show you where Holdren looked 81's way and pulled it down more than once in the second half and scrambled which was really BH's best plays all night. Maybe your coach doesn't understand yet that 15 points isn't a big enough lead on Crosby, he's not playing Leander anymore.
  18. It won't let me post mine, says the file it too big. You have a still, I have multiple clips.
  19. I'm not sure the loser of the TC vs Nederland game gets in? I can see a scenario this year where we have three two loss teams or maybe even two three loss teams.
  20. Again, this was your typical "Crosby is average" or "Crosby isn't that good" game because somebody beats us or almost does. After Crosby has these games they usually start hammering people while the other team usually goes back to playing they way they were. We'll see what happens here? It's a different story when you get every team's best shot every week vs just having to muster it up once to play a big game. Proud of our kids for finishing they way they did.
  21. I can show you clips of #70 holding #45 for us all night long. Every time he got beat he hooked him around the shoulder and only got called maybe once. You're talking about a front row seat but I have the actual cut-ups from the game. Two of Holdren runs where he escapes pressure they're holding Casey and it isn't called. Last thing anybody should be talking from BH is the officiating, we were getting screwed ALL night. Side judge on the BH side was absolutely awful as were the rest of the officials.
  22. They didn't throw it to him because he wasn't open. Holdren ended up getting blasted on the last play of the game on overtime trying to hold it and look for him. Problem with running it down Crosby throat was that it's not the way BH got the lead. BH scored 33 points in the first half being aggressive throwing the ball, running it in the second half only scored y'all 13 and never put the game away. Matter of fact it caused you a fumble on the second to last drive in regulation and when Crosby knew you were going to run it on your last drive in regulation y'all couldn't. Had Kirkwood's td not been called back on the phantom hold 10 yards behind the play it never even goes to OT. Y'al were tied with PAM late and lost by 28, y'all were up 15 points on Crosby with 4 mins left and collapsed. There's at theme there.
  23. Man, you had a completely different view than me then. Herndon was continually trying to block after the play and throwing cheap shots which is why you heard the Crosby side booing before the ref eventually threw the flag on the last drive. If we could post film I would show you every time he did it and wasn't called. Crazy part is that is the best stat line any BH player has ever had against Crosby the last 15 years and y'all still lost because he couldn't make a play in the second half.
  24. I don't see enough BH fans pointing this out. Also, Crosby ran their last play with :01 left on the clock. Even with the fumble and the collapse BH was having, Crosby probably runs out of time if BH had ran the play clock down further on their previous offensive snaps. QB should've been told that he doesn't snap it until it's under :03 on the playclock. Also, BH players gets hurt on the second to last play of the game allowing Crosby and official's time out. He has to be told to roll of the field so the ball can be spotted and the clock started, instead he laid there and allowed Crosby to take their time and get a play in from the sideline. BH had multiple opportunities to finish us and just couldn't.
  25. You should've seen how BH acted in Crosby in 2018 after finally winning one after losing 7 straight. Same was y'all acted after finally beating Dayton for the first time in like a decade. I can't remember the Dayton year, picture was on the front of the Chronicle sports section though. I really wouldn't call the Crosby staff trash when Coach P had to go to midfield to cuss out Abseck when a BH player tried to take out the knee of one of the Crosby kids after the play. Our player was hurt, the BH kids got a personal foul called on him and Abseck never told him anything which I sure is what Coach P was pointing out. Herdon was out there throwing multiple cheap shots and eventually got called for one on the drive Hagler ended up fumbling on. Definitely contributed to y'all losing the game, that wheel route probably goes for a TD without the additional 15 yards. This game was like the old Crosby vs Dayton games. Everybody understood before the game started that they were going to play up to and at times over the edge. I can't remember either team calling the other trash though, especially after it was BH coach's fault they lost the game.
