1. [Hidden Content] This is the idiot that killed Nick Adenheart  last year.  Three seperate convictions of second degree murder.  Looking at 50 years to life in prison.
2. Let's all take a deep breath.  Programs greater than this one have lost by scores like this and have done okay from that point.  Several years ago the almighty Texas Longhorns got rolled up by UCLA 66-3.  Just a few years ago, Nebraska rolls into Lubbock and gets trounced by Texas Tech 70-15.  The Aggies lost to OU 77-0.  These things happen.  It sucks when they happen to you.  But you buckle up your chinstrap on Monday and hit somebody in practice and get ready for the next game. The SFA game is old news.  I'm not going to discuss it anymore.  Let's have some good practices and come out firing against Prison U.  GO BIG RED!!
3. Doc what does it cost to just watch one game at a time?  Do you have any idea? Also, I never thanked you and your colleages over in Lake Chuck for such a great time a couple weeks back.  Very nice experience and a classy bunch.  When you guys finish the athletic offices, the stadium will be real nice!  (not that it isn't already)
4. That's bush league - and Jeter should not be surprised if if he gets plunked next week for it.
5.
It's 8:44 and the dirt burglaring, overall wearing, mongoloids in maroon still suck.
I don't normally respond to this thread because it's rather juvenille - but I couldn't help notice the shift to Aggie suckage in this post.
6. I don't have any first hand knowledge of this story - but from your own post no one should have thought that the kid was on the team.  If he went to walk on tryouts, even if by invitation, that means absolutely nothing.  he wasn't offered a scholarship; there is no promise of a position on the team when you are trying out. I wish the kid the best - even if he goes to SFA.
7. If the other kid showed better - than what is the problem?  We don't want to take kids just because they are local to the detriment of the talent on this team.  If the coaches thought that the kicker already there was better, than he should be the starter.
8. Doc: What type of reception should visiting fans expect Saturday.  Should I bring a hard hat or just leave the rabbit ears at home?
9. Well it looks like we have no problems with Danielle - but Earl concerns me.  What is it looking like to you Coop?  Cahnces that it gets into the gulf?
10. Barry Bonds has already been indicted.  His perjury trial starts in March I believe.  No date yet for when Roger's trial will be scheduled.
11. I predict I will be there excited to see it no matter the score.  But I do feel like we will get manhamdled pretty soundly and lose 41-13.
12. I don't tend to put a lot of stock on coaching at the major league level.  However, it would be awfully coincidental  (if this offensive outburst continues) that this all started about the time the change was made.
13. Got a buddy to buy some for me (my buddy is also a season ticket holder)
14. Berkman's stats for the last few years: SEASON▲ TEAM▲ G▼ AB▼ R▼ H▼ TB▼ 2B▼ 3B▼ HR▼ RBI▼ BB▼ IBB▼ SO▼ SB▼ CS▼ AVG▼ OBP▼ SLG▼ OPS▼ GO/AO 2005 HOU 132 468 76 137 245 34 1 24 82 91 12 72 4 1 .293 .411 .524 .934 1.22          2006 HOU 152 536 95 169 333 29 0 45 136 98 22 106 3 2 .315 .420 .621 1.041 0.84          2007 HOU 153 561 95 156 286 24 2 34 102 94 11 125 7 3 .278 .386 .510 .896 1.10        2008 HOU 159 554 114 173 314 46 4 29 106 99 18 108 18 4 .312 .420 .567 .986 1.09        2009 HOU 136 460 73 126 234 31 1 25 80 97 14 98 7 4 .274 .399 .509 .907 1.17 The important stat is the next to last one on each line OPS - those numbers are REALLY good.  Even the .896 - his lowest in the last 5 years - is phenomenal.  He is having a down year this year - and maye he is close to being done - but forh the last ten years Lance Berkman has been an elite hitter.
15. Hasn't handled pressure well?  did you watch the playoffs in 2004 and 2005?
16. I don't expect us to win at McNeese - but I do expect us to compete as soon as possible.  That's what the transfers are for.  They will bring the younger guys along better than two years of nothing but losing to more experience teams could do. What school are you assisting so we can see the blueprint for future success?
17. Wish Roy the best.  Did a lot for the Stros and will be missed - but this team has to get better on the farm.  this helped us get better on the farm.  Maybe not a lot better on the farm, but better than we were.
18. Terror - I generally side with letting you voice your opinion on this forum because you generally have constructive things to say - but I have to disagree with you on this.  Would you rather show up in Lake Charles on September 4 with 22 starting guys that have never taken a snap of college football?  I don't think so.  With the transfers we have some experience on the team.  Besides there's no guarantee that all the transfers are going to start. Besides, how many college football programs have you started from scratch?  If you are so knowledgeable perhaps you should be on Sam's staff and they wouldn't be picked by the coaches and SIDs to finish near the bottom of the conference this year.  ;)
19. SS Javi Villar and OF Anthony Gose.  But they have flipped Gose to the Blue Jays for AAA 1B Brett Wallace who is likely major league ready or pretty close to it.  Could even be your starting 1B next year.
20. I emailed the ticket office a week or so ago and they are going to have tix for the McNeese game - so be watching the website.
21. They currently stream all other Lamar broadcasts that they do over the internet.  I don't see why they wouldn't stream football as well.
22. Astros and Phillies reportedly in advanced discussions about trading Roy Oswalt for prospects.
23.
this was a great move by the astros . Baggy is a legend in the houston astros organization . if anyone can turn the astros hitting around its bagwell
There has to be something to turn aroud.  Is Bagwell going to turn Pedro Feliz into a .300 hitter when that is not his career path?  Is he going to make Hunter Pence more disciplined at the plate, when nobody else at the major or minor league level has been abloe to?  Is Bagwell going to make Lance Berkman more than mediocre from the right side of the plate?  Can Bagwell make Geoff BLum a productive major league hitter when he hasn't been for the better part of this decade? Like I said - this was a move to name a scapegoat which Drayton turned into a public relations opportunity to help get people through the turnstiles - and I think the majority of knowledgeable baseball fans see right through it.
24. A man that has probably done more, good and bad, for baseball than any other owner in the modern era.
25. I don't have a problem with Wade, yet.  He has made some questionable free agent signings, but I put responsibility for those on Drayton more than on Wade.  Wade was in charge when the Phillies back to back World Series teams were being put together - so he gets the credit for those teams and I have been good with his draft classes thus far.  Drayton needs to step out of the way and let the "baseball men" he hired be the "baseball" men in this organization.
