Cyrien was the guy who got offered the ULaLa job but then was dismissed when it became apparent that he had lied on his resume.

Tidwell is waiting till after the Final 4 - that makes me thing they are looking at an assistant at a TOP program.  A program that Tidwell expects to be in the Final 4.  That would throw some interesting names in the mix, but as of right now my money is on Terry.

I like it.  He apparently really wants the job too.  The guy can coach as he showed at UTEP and aTm.  I hope they can get it done before one of these other programs can convince him to come to Norman, or Atlanta or Fayatteville.

That is prcisely why LU is getting the auto bid - they were the highest finishing team in the SLC that did not get an invite to the NCAA tournament.  It is a two step process - the team has to fulfill both criteria.  McNeese doesn't so Lamar does.

Chris Level of Red Raider Sports (rivals.com network affiliate) is reporting that Tech has already met with BCG and could announce that he is their next basketball coach as early as this week. 

First time in the ACC final together since 2001 - and just like that year, Duke comes through!

I am changing my opinion on Pat Knight.  If he is interested in the job (assuming that Roc is gone) I would support Coach Knight getting an interview.  This is based solely on the way he has handled himself in the aftermath of his release at Tech.  He is a class act, and may have just been over his head in the Big 12.  He coached under arguably the greatest basketball coach in college hoops. played for him as well and spent time at other "big name" programs.  Not saying that he should be the guy, but would support his getting interviewed and then I trust Tidwell to make the best decision.
