I think McZeal has BCS school potential with his size. I remember last year thinking that if he just became more consistent, which I figured would come with age, then he would turn into a beast at WR. PN-G's offense will be scary this year, wish I could see em play.
P.S. - I miss yall being up here in Chicago. I'm sure some people don't miss me but I'll always remember SETX and the football down there.

Playing in a win or go home in the semis can help or hurt. They can't come out slow like they did in the 1st game of the last two series, or else they'll be done and they won't have another game to make up for it. That being said, someone did mention that the Mustangs have played well when their collective backs are against the walls. They have to be crisp on defense and get some run-production early. But I am for sure rooting WO-S on up here in Chicago!

Foster just picked up another offer from University of Louisiana Monroe. The FBS offers starting to come in now

I was told they had him up last Saturday and sitting in a chair.
Those of us who have been around W.T. for the last few years and have seen him go on when just walking onto the field with oxygen was a challenge while keeping a wonderful attitude through all of his challenges.
Winning the state championship would have been great last year but that did not happen, God gave him something greater, he game him new lungs and a continuation of life. 
For all of us Newton football fans, We got something greater than a state championship.

Whoever mentioned Darrell Baldwin was correct, coach Flanigan did tweet out that he got offered by Kansas. Pretty impressive considering he's coming off a knee injury. Congrats to him.

I talked to Coach Harrison on Friday and he hasn't finalized dates yet, he hopes to have them by next week. But he said he plans on starting the week after the regional track meet

He definitely has the tools to be a Division 1 QB. Great arm, tough, good size. Running a system like he does at PN-G definitely helps IMO. Colleges may be hesitant because of his height but I personally wouldn't have an issue with it. He'll definitely put up big numbers. Biggest thing he needs to do his senior season is adjust to when defenses adjust to him. He struggled with that a little bit last season (WO-S & Nederland games are the ones I think of).
 
Best pure QB in the area for the Class of 2016 though.
