TD Newton, 57-yard run from Darwin Barlow

Good luck to coach T and the Stangs from over here in Miami. Go get that 3peat starting with tonight
-
It's a Texas thing. Every other state I've been to, head-to-head with the same amount of district losses would determine the champ. But that's neither here nor there, congrats to PAM and PNG for winning co-district champs.

guess I’m just different man... my son is out there tonight, and if I see him refuse to shake hands with anyone in that field he will be getting a foot in his a$$ tonight when he gets home... some guys condone that poor behavior and I guess that’s cool... I’m done with the topic... hope the rest of the game is clean for both teams
So youre totally ignoring what has been said happened. Or you know what happened and still choose to look past it. They shook hands, just not when YOU could see it. Sorry you feel bad about it.
-
Someone already said they shook hands at the real coin toss. They have a second not real coin toss. They didn't shake hands then. But if they shook hands for the real one then get over it.

They shook hands before the game doing the real coin toss. The mid field meet up is just for show. So they paid respect just not when some would like.
Why do they have two coin tosses? I've never gotten that

No overlooking Vidor this year.
And if you're going to not shake hands, you better beat the opponent. Bad look if you don't shake and lose.
I can already see what direction that's going in.

I say it in regards to close victories and I'll say it for a blowout: never apologize for a win.

Newton always has a chance lol. Their "off" years are 3rd round. Blue doggy said closer than we think. Did he take Newton -63.5?
-
From a fairly neutral observation, seemed like the refs made calls that both teams disliked from how this thread has gone. So they must have been consistently bad. But no one ever thinks the refs like their team.
Good game, I was keeping up with it on here and through Twitter. That first two drives of the 2nd half set the tone.
PAM will bounce back, I don't think there's another offense that explosive they'll have to deal with (Vidor will be tough but nothing like anything PAM will see come playoff time). Great comeback win for PNG. Both teams will be solid come playoffs. PNG still has to worry about defense vs top end teams and like someone else mentioned in this thread, PAM has to learn to play for four quarters.

PNG attempted an onside kick and recovered it

Where's that guy that said Crockett would expose Newton tonight?

Never apologize for a victory. Congrats to Kenny and the Titans.

Doesn't seem like PAM played that well (at least offensively) and beat Central by a wider margin than last year. Hm.
-
PAM will clean things up and be just fine for later on in the season, is my opinion. Idk much about Central, hopefully they can get back on track. Did Central look much different from year's past? Because I read a lot on here about how it wouldn't look at all like recent Central teams

Personally I always thought that would have been best from the start. I understand Keith's there though. Very dynamic read option.
Definitely understand that. I'm not there obviously so it's very much a guess on my part. But if they don't have a threat of the pass, teams will load up the box and dare them to pass. So one way or another they have to step up in passing.
-
Any chance PAM goes to the younger kid at QB and move Jones out to WR? Doesn't Ladia have a pretty live arm?

Central has nothing. PAM will grab the third spot, unless they improve quickly

Diboll just scored on a long run. Newton leads Diboll 27-7, 4th quarter
-
Yeah it'd be pretty ridiculous to only give Taylor two seasons. At least give a third season, see how they do when they move down to 4A

I heard they weren't going to wear the red on red in the games.
I don't think they're allowed to wear those red jerseys unless they change the color of the numbers. There's some rule that says the numbers can't be the same color as the jersey for reading and number ID purposes I believe.
