Biden’s open door policy.  You are aware he did away with Trump’s border policies in order to obtain more Democratic voters.  Since you somehow made it through college and became a nurse, I figured you were smart enough to figure that out.  You proved me wrong!

He does not have an open door policy for illegal immigrants

So does a leader of anything represent what you stand for?

What do my family values have to do with a president or candidate?

Jimmy Carter was probably one of the most down to Earth, decent and very religious leaders to ever hold the office and certainly in my lifetime. He led the country down the drain however and got kicked out by a landslide after one term.

Which is better, a devout Christian who almost no one questions his sincerity and personal life but a horrible leader or a person who had some transgressions in his past but whose policies lead to prosperity?

Neither stops me from nor leads me to my personal beliefs and values. Does the President, no matter who it is, affect yours?

The Republicans  run on a platform of family values. Why? who knows. Democrats don't. Republicans are hypocrites. Pro birth not Pro life

You are probably correct… there are millions of Canadians pouring across the border in caravans but for some reason have gone unnoticed.

I hear that Detroit and Seattle now have a huge homeless population because of all the White Canadians streaming into this country.

How do you feel about people staying in the U.S. after their Visa expires?

If I was voting for a spiritual leader then none of them would get my vote.

From JFK’s well known flings to Clinton's Oval Office affair that he was compelled to address on national television, to one time front runner to be the president in Democrat Gary Hart and so on, the Republicans hardly have a monopoly on infidelity. Trump’s accusation as far as I know happened well before he became president however the two Democratic presidents that I mentioned happened in their term and in the White House.

I think I will look elsewhere for moral guidance other than the Democratic Party…. 🤣🤣🤣

I agree, but the Republicans run on the platform of family values, which is hilarious.

The Bible also says thou shall not murder, are you ignoring that?  Not mad, just making a point that you are picking and choosing parts of the Bible to use an example.  It seems like you don’t care about that commandment.  As far as discussing anything else, you opened the door talking about what the Bible says to do, that’s the point I made.  Don’t get made because you got called out in a gotcha situation.

So are you...I don't believe in abortion, but I believe in funding of programs that help to SUSTAIN life. I talked my son's girlfriend out of getting an abortion, so i am going to be  grandma in May. You don't know what you are talking about. You are only pro birth

    Medicaid

    Food stamps

    WIC

    CHIPS

    ETC

Don’t come on here and throw around bits and pieces of what the Bible says!  It also says not to commit murder, yet you and your party of DEMONCRATS condone it by calling it abortion.   Some of your fellow DEMONCRATS want to legalize it right up to time of birth.  How horrific this must be for the innocent baby.  Your fellow DEMONCRATS also voted to take the use of the word God out of the convention.  So, with all that being said, don’t come out here with the Bible stuff, while you support these heathens!

You were making fun of me loving my Muslim neighbors. That is what the bible says to do. We were not discussing anything else. You sound big mad.

You do know, according to big girl, that the parties decided one day to flip flop.  So the R ‘s became the D’s, and vice versa.  In her mind, Lincoln was actually a Democrat, so she can claim that the D’s ended slavery, not Republicans.

Did you sleep through your history cIasses? I learned this  in the 5th grade

And yet you still voted for him.  No matter what you think of him, we were in better shape as a country with Trump, than we are with biden.  And that is why you vote for him.  The D’s had no problems with Kennedy and his personal life.  The difference is social media.  The black community, who mostly vote D, had no trouble with the womanizing MLK.  They put him on a pedestal, like he was God.  Just a lot of snowflakes around now.

Trump cheated on his wife with a porn star yet you put him on a pedestal

I think the real purpose of the legislation is out there. We keep thinking in terms of kids getting better educations, avoiding liberal-leaning teaching, etc… and we’re focusing on middle class kids.

What I think it’s really about is higher income families with kids in private schools… people whose annual tax bill looks nothing like yours or mine. Let’s say that I’m a wealthy family man with three kids in private school AND I pay 8k a year in school taxes on my homestead… it’s appraised at $500k. But I’ve also got a business and a handful of rental properties as well…. What’s more annoying than paying $30k a year for tuition to send my 3 kids to private school (so they don’t have to attend with “those” kids), then having to write another check to cover $30k to cover my school tax bill.

So I call my good friends (I’ve got their cell numbers because I also contribute to campaigns) and we cook up a scheme whereby rich guys like me can get a break on my school tax bill by way a school voucher that I can use for tuition for my entitled brats.

It’s not about quality of education, it’s about a break for rich people (who make generous campaign contributions) to send their kids to private schools and get an offset.

That struggling single mom still won’t be able to send her kids anywhere.

If the powers that be really wanted better educations, they’d force all schools to accept all students. People could send their kids wherever they wanted and bad schools would be forced to get better or close because the kids all went to better schools.

    I agree wholeheartedly

So we are worried about the percentages being terrorists? Wow, what next? My wife and my two best friends are Hispanic, so don’t go there again. They should not be a voting block because they are not American and most would never swear allegiance to this country. They simply invade and your people make them more comfortable than good hard working Americans. Give it up man. Your argument stinks and again, you know it, but you will continue this charade of covering the wrongdoers.
I’m done with this. Of course you will have the last day as usual.

    Sure they are

Does every gold star parent get to go to the state of the union? No.

So how did the most vocal of the gold star parents get in? Some Republican congressman invited him in hopes that he’d do exactly what he did.

If that’s not milking that man’s  grief for political purposes, then I guess I don’t know what it is.

Why do all of the outbursts keep coming from “our” side?  Because character and decorum don’t matter to Republicans anymore…. Just who can be the biggest anus. Mike Johnson should strip MTG of any committee spots she currently has.

    Yep.

Even though this is a huge problem, do you really think this explains it away? It’s not just the red hats that want them out of here. You turn a blind eye to the terrorist threat, the invasion of gangsters/cartel members, streamlined drug smugglers, rapists, murderers, etc….. The workers to which you refer are covered under legal immigration. Of course you can continue with your mix and match approach and there are those you can spoon feed that garbage, but your argument really lacks any appeal.

Why don't you have that same energy when it comes to the Northern border. I read that is easier to get drugs in that way because that border is less secure.
