UK would have likely won it all, IMO, had Poythress not gotten hurt. At a minimum, he would have shut down Dekker when he was in. Hands down the best defender in the country that I saw play, and a "versatile" defender at that.

He shares play calling duties with Watson. He does call plays during the game. He does, and Watson does. As such, there are no grounds for okie aggy to recover in their suit. Don't like it? Hire better lawyers to draw up your contracts.

I read most of them. Duke has been getting rave reviews in practice since he arrived on campus last year. I was told by more than 1 person in the program that he might have been the best RB on campus during his redshirt year. We shall see.

Our 17u (Defenders) beat them in the Finals of the Spring Ice Breaker. 6'10" kid Denzalle Henderson is a nice big. Pretty solid group.

I still hear officials tell their best Dan Ray stories. They always involve a good laugh without fail. I've never seen referees get berated, then laugh and seem to enjoy it like they did with Hooks. He is quite a character and one of a kind on the sidelines.

Part of coaching is working the referees. And no one, and I do mean NO ONE, has ever been better at that than Coach K. On a local level, the best I ever saw was Dan Hooks. He was a master as well.
