Wow, it appears 4A region 3 is being conceded by some on this board to Yates by a wide margin. Because I believe the Lions would be a solid favorite against United. If United is the best team in our coverage area by a wide margin, that doesn’t fare well for our teams in that region.

Confirmed that Mark did sit out the championship game with cramps. Also, Dickinson’s other starting guard, Deuce Guidry, didn’t play at all in the tournament. Mark did play in Dickinson’s 17 pt loss to Yates on Friday. Also important to note Morton Ranch’s big man, TCU commit Eddie Lampkin didn’t play at all in the tournament either.

My understanding is Dickinson’s best player, Tramon Mark, did not play. Kind of a key player missing when he, along with Morton Ranch’s LJ Cryer, is one of the best 2 PGs in the area.

I agree. The little things he does that most miss are the most impressive to me. Out of all the players on a very talented team, it is two freshmen who look like surefire pros to me, Roschon and Colburn. With Roschon, he’s obviously supremely talented. But I swear he looks like he could play about 5 different positions in the League, not including special teams. And he’s much bigger than I thought he was.

Kirk Herbstreit screams bush league. Most overrated guy in the business. He isn’t worthy of carrying Joel Klatt’s water. So although I posted as a dig obviously, I have come to expect this type of thing from “Herbie.” But I do expect more from Fowler. The other guy I have no idea who that even is.

You may. And Florida is NOT good. SEC is pretty average at best this year. Bama, LSU are both good and maybe Georgia (although I’m assuming they’ve looked pretty pedestrian against a dreadful Tennessee team I’m assuming).

I’m curious to see what restitution is ordered. Although it’s not like with the feds where they can just garnish wages. And over a 10 year period, short of “finding money” somewhere else, I can’t imagine it would put a dent in it. He can also serve up to 180 days in jail as a condition of probation. Knowing Judge Stevens, i wouldn’t be surprised to see that happen. Still, 2.5 mil for some probation and a 10k fine, I’m sure a lot of people would take that deal. Reminds me of the American Greeds my wife and I watch and she goes nuts when people defraud people out of 100s of millions of dollars sometimes and get like a 5 year sentence...
