HJ got down by 13 early and went zone to cut it to 3, then went back to man and got blown out. Never went back to zone, not sure why.

Anybody have a good list of SETX kids with or without offers? Interested to see where kids are going, and what kids are talented enough but don’t have the opportunity at the next level.

Canyon was 13/19 from the field in the first half.  Hard to beat a team that doesn't miss or turn the ball over.  HJ is going to have to really take care of the ball and not waste possessions.  To give you an idea on how well canyon takes care of the ball, HJ had one steal in the first half.  They probably have averaged 30 steals a game on the year, no exaggeration.  

Can’t give them easy shots. Opening the driving lanes by playing man so far out, need to get in a zone or something. Easy layups and wide open shots

A win is a win at the end of the day. Glad the Lady Hawks didn’t fold in adversity! On to round 5! 

You can inbound the ball to another player that is out of bounds after a made basket. You can run the baseline, or pass to someone else out of bound on the baseline.

😂😂😂😂 39 points in 3 quarters is low for a good boys varsity team. You could have told me the game ended in the middle of the 3rd quarter and I’d expect more points to be scored.

This is the same HJ team that scored like 28 points against Nederland earlier this year?? I’m definitely judging the score 

39-38 for a seeding game between two co-district champs in boys varsity? Is the area down that bad?

First round suspension for a fight following a seeding game to determine who you play in the first round of the playoffs would be pretty ironic. 

Silsbee slowing it down against Orangefield? Never thought I’d hear that, regardless of who is wearing the silsbee uniforms 

This one was definitely worth the drive over. Good game between two good teams, HJ looks to be hitting their stride at the right time.

Hawks looking good after 1, struggling with service in the gym so probably won’t be able to post updates 

Excited to see this one, the Hawks have been looking good since the last matchup 

After 8 seasons and a record of 105-104, it’s time to scrap this thing. He’s obviously not the guy.
